Rahanni Level One training is coming to Cork Healing Centre on Sunday the 4th of October, led by our Reiki Master, Geraldine Desmond. This is a small, intimate group with limited places, giving each participant proper time, guidance and support throughout the day.

Reiki Level 1 is where you learn to work with your own hands.

Two full days, in a small group, at Ashdale House in Blarney. You’ll be attuned to the Reiki energy and taught the full sequence of hand positions for treating yourself and the people close to you, along with other tools to take away with you. The emphasis in Level 1 is on self healing first, which is usually the part people are least practised at.

No previous training needed. It tends to suit people who are curious rather than certain.

Sunday 13th and Sunday 20th September 2026

You'll spend more of these two days lying down than you'd expect.

Level 1 is a proper training — attunements, hand positions, the chakra system, scanning, beaming, manual and certificate. But a good part of it is being treated. You learn on yourself first, then you work on each other, which means you receive as often as you give.

On day two you also receive the Seichim and Sekhem attunement. Most Level 1 trainings don't include it.

Two full days with Geraldine at Ashdale House in Blarney. Four people, no more, so it stays quiet and unhurried.

It's where you start if you go on to become a practitioner. It's just as often done for nobody but yourself.

No experience needed. Wear something you don't mind lying down in, and bring water.

The uniform is hanging on the back of the door and something has already shifted. Your child’s brain has spent eight years building a detailed map of primary school, and secondary school deletes it overnight, which is exactly why the fear turns up before September does. Research shows most children who dread the move settle in anyway, worrying and settling are not opposites. What helps most is rebuilding the map early, walking the route, doing the induction day, and having one familiar face waiting on the other side.
