I love a good birth book!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So this post definitely isn’t me saying you shouldn’t buy one as there are some brilliant hypnobirthing and birth preparation books out there, and reading can be a really helpful part of preparing for your baby’s birth
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I also know that booking a course is a much bigger investment than buying a book, especially when there are so many other things to pay for when you’re expecting a baby
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I wanted to show a little more of what you’re actually getting when you book with me and the part that probably doesn’t show up on my Instagram very much
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The couples whose plans suddenly changed, perhaps to a planned caesarean or an induction, and wanted a reassuring chat about how their hypnobirthing tools could still support them
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The woman who gets in touch because she wants to revisit something from the course in more depth now that her due date is getting closer
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And occasionally, even a message from a couple while they’re actually in labour. Yes, really!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The check-ins and chats that happen as due dates get closer
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the very best parts… I’m so lucky to often receive that lovely photo telling me baby is here, and finally get to see the little person who was also at the course, just hidden away inside mum’s belly 😂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You will leave the course with plenty of resources and information to use in your own time and you don’t need to come back to me after the course day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But if something changes, you want to revisit something we covered, or you would simply value a little extra support along the way, I’m still here for you after the course day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That human bit is probably one of the parts of Luna Birth Services I haven’t shared enough of. From the feedback I receive, it’s one of the things couples really value about doing the course with me ❤️
