Growing up in an alpine ski resort in Switzerland, I developed a keen interest and admiration for nature since a young age. I started off studying languages at the French Universities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in specialised translation at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). I worked translating texts for different health-related organisations, inclu
ding the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health. However, my fascination for homeopathy and a natural approach to health truly awakened through an unintended immersion into homeopathic literature. I understood the importance of nurturing and supporting the body in order to boost its inherent ability to heal while preserving quality of life. My quest for a holistic approach to health led me to discover homeopathy, a system of medicine using natural substances to support the body’s healing mechanisms in the restoration of health. I subsequently enrolled in a 4-year course at the Irish School of Homeopathy and obtained the qualification and licence to practice in 2016. As a 4th year student I had the opportunity and privilege to study at The Other Song Academy for Advanced Homeopathy in Mumbai. While growing and expanding my practice, I obtained a BSc (Hons) degree at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London (Middlesex University).I also continue to attend seminars and conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest research and advances in the field of homeopathy. My homeopathic practice is now part of Skylark Health which was established in an unspoiled area of natural beauty in Co. Cavan, surrounded by three mountains and bordered by the river Shannon, where we promote a natural approach to health by offering not only homeopathic consultations, but also nurturing yoga and meditation retreats.
