Devastating news about the passing of the legend of man that was Mark Butler ,after an 18 year friendship I will be lost without his chats dodgy memes and comedy let alone life advice and scheming, we attended over 50 tattoo convention together in Ireland and England and he won a load of awards on his collection of tattoos he was better know and liked than most artists on the circuit and had friends internationally as a result, I’ll be forever terrible thank god,rest in peace brother 🤟222

This weekend starting Friday ,Saturday and Sunday we have a mini convention style event in DarkvalleyTattoo Drogheda ,we are doing custom designs and walkins for the weekend,10 artists including our neighbouring tattoo studio The Vintage Gallery taking walkins we are running a raffle with great prizes!raising a few quid towards the all Ireland Hiphop champions trip over to Arizona so grab a ticket book a tattoo,catch our merch and cakes stalls, we have guest Storm troopers on the town on Sunday with displays in store and loads more, pm for bookings 🥳🤟

Ladies and gentlemen the moment has come to reveal our two competing artists for the first Annual Tattoo Battle in honour of Joe Myler.
Artist One: Dualta Kellegher from DarkvalleyTattoo Drogheda
Artist Two: Wayne Ellis from Addicted 2 Ink Tattoo Studio

The Rules of battle:
Any Size
Any Style
Tattoo must be started and finished on the day.
A maximum time allowed is 8 hours.
Judges will select the winning piece.
The winner lifts the 2024 Remembering Joe Myler award

neighbouring studios to be announced shortly, we have a raffle draw on the Sunday 5th helping out our friend Alex who’s representing Ireland in the hip hop dancing competitions in Arizona - so get involved loads of prizes, we have a Star Wars themed flash images throughout the weekend as well as the guest artists choice pieces in their styles, themed surprises to coincide with the local arts weekend and to kick off our summer calendars opening at DarkValley Tattoo, 33 Peter Street, Drogheda!
