As I am starting a new term of guided breathing sessions in October - I thought I'd share a little post on what even IS "Breathwork" π
There are SOooo many different styles and ways of practising breathwork π¨π
Some activate your stress response and are helpful in releasing emotions and can be quite transformative experiences π«π€©π§ββοΈ This is NOT the style or type I am doing - maybe one day!
My breathwork sessions are ideal for those who:
β‘οΈ Feel stressed
β‘οΈ Feel wound up
β‘οΈ Feel overwhelmed
β‘οΈ Can be irritable and reactive
β‘οΈ Overthink, have trouble making decisions
β‘οΈ Prioritise everything else above themselves
β‘οΈ Find it hard to wind down and rest
β‘οΈ Crave a sense of calm and peace in their body and mind
β‘οΈ Want to improve their mood and mindset
β‘οΈ Really great for those who experience PMS, irritability
β‘οΈ For M**s who need a much needed break
The style I am bringing to my upcoming sessions is all about calming the mind down, calming the body down, helping you rest, and deeply relax π«ππ¦
It is VERY rare for us to give ourselves dedicated time to recharge - like ACTUALLY recharge, not just collapse onto the couch at the end of the week!
