My sons Leukemia symptoms -

for world Leukemia day let’s drive awareness by sharing .
Not because I want to scare you but because early diagnosis increase chance of people making it.

As my 1:1 client said to me today “it’s an advert it’s a documentation a fundraiser but not someone stored in your phone …”

Until it isn’t and we never thought it would happen to us.

Children going through cancer deserve food to nourish their bodies going through hard treatment and help them feel better!

No beige garbage disguised as food! Our oncology centres need to do better which is what Dylan Strong Foundation and I are partnering together to do.

Going gold for children’s cancer shouldn’t just be about feeling sorry for us and what we have been through. It’s about awareness and driving change.

Because our kids deserve better than limited funding and research and protocols written in the 60s for adult patients!

Looking back to see how far we have come!

Taken at Royal Marsden during Teds BMT transplant.

I had the kitchen cook to my recipes as I refused to feed Teddy hospital food and he wouldn’t eat it.

I think this meal was a sweet potato and chick pea curry!

We need to stop brushing cancer under the rug because it’s awkward.

Survival doesn’t come without its trauma and its scars.

The only people who ever say you “need to move on and get over it” are those who have never experienced an oncology ward!

Sitting in that dark room in the Royal Marsden with all of those machines beeping in prayed.

I swore If my son was spared and kept safe I would spend my life sharing his story with the world. To help other cancer patients.

To remove people from the brain washing that what you eat doesn’t matter, especially during treatment.

4 years ago tomorrow my boy got his new magic cells. He napped through the procedure - should have told me everything.

Happy 4th rebirth day Teddy. Im grateful every day to have you here.

Calories are not king and what cancer patients eat does matter!

The most senior transplant oncologist consultant had to apologise about getting it wrong about the impact of nutrition on treatment!

Calories are king is one of the most misleading statements out there in the world of oncology!

It’s backed by science that chemo and conventional treatments deplete your body of vital nutrients. Nutrients it needs to function. 80% of the immune system is linked to gut health.

So I focussed on gut health for my 18 month old son following these basic principles which took him from a prognosis of 13% to 97%.

Here is some of what I did

☑️ cooked food only to reduce stress on digestive system
☑️ avoided ultra processed foods as much as possible
☑️ Gave him ip6 to keep his appetite strong
☑️ Focussed on 35-50 plants a week alongside organic meat
☑️ Made the Uks leading cancer hospital cook to my recipes

Now I help oncology families and non oncology families get as much variety into their diet without it feeling like hard work- picky eater approved

Just comment with ‘tracker’ and il send you my free tracker to get more variety into yours and your families diet. If you aren’t following me it might not work so make sure you do.
