Getting tattooed should never mean giving up your boundaries.
Your body is not part of the service. Your discomfort is not “part of the process.” And your silence is never something anyone is entitled to. Respect, consent, and safety should exist in every tattoo experience — always.
If you are in Ireland and need help, you can report to **An Garda Síochána** through any local Garda station, and in an emergency you should call **999 or 112**. Garda also provides guidance for reporting sexual crime and seeking support.
For confidential support, **Women’s Aid** offers a **24-hour National Freephone Helpline** at **1800 341 900**, seven days a week. Their support is free and confidential.
You also mentioned **Grupo Mulheres do Brasil** as a possible community support network for Brazilian women in Ireland.
At Tattoo Like a Girl Club, safety, consent, and respect are not extras — they are part of our foundation. If this message matters to you, save it, share it, and send it to someone who should know their rights too.
