There is so much shame attached to being or feeling β€˜different’ growing up in Ireland

You strive to do everything you can in order to fit in and not be anything other than what society has conditioned you to believe is β€˜normal’ or β€˜right’.

Our early experiences mould us, and for some those experiences lead to an extreme amount of internalised shame and self-hatred.
And for many people, unfortunately that is still the case.

Being made to feel not good enough because of being surrounded by small-mindedness, poor education, outdated believes, and much more.

It takes a lot of unlearning and relearning to eradicate the beliefs you held so deeply growing up.

But there is space for you.
Even if you don’t feel like that currently.

Our biggest green flag?

We can help your Mam get stronger, fitter and have a laugh at the same time βœ…

At the end of the day - the exercise you get the most benefit from is the one you can sustain multiple times per week.

For it to be sustainable, it must be enjoyable πŸ™Œ

And that is what we are all about - evidence based progression, but made enjoyable.

If you or someone you know are over the age of 55 in the Knocklyon/Churchtown area and looking to get involved in strength training in a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgemental environment - be sure to reach out to us
