Hello and welcome to my new page specifically for Sand Tray Therapy and those of us who wish to learn more about this beautiful form of expression and healing. I hope to bring insight and awareness to people who have never experienced this form of therapy and explain how it works and the benefits to be gained from opening ourselves to the healing powers of sand.

So let's start by learning some of the symbolism ...

The image below is Cerberus. The three headed hound who guards the gates to the underworld. In Sand Tray Therapy this often used symbol reminds us of the fact that death is permanent and that life cannot be regained for our loved ones who have passed and often helps people to better understand their grief.

Hope your day is filled with happiness no matter how brief those moments are .... catch them!
