The truth is, some days the mental load doesn’t just make you tired, it stalls you out completely.
Looking at the start of this video, I see myself caught right in that invisible battleground between flight and freeze.
My mind wanted to run from the overwhelm I was feeling, but my body was stuck, trying to process the weight of the moment.
But then, the shift happens.
It takes a deliberate, heavy sigh to start unwinding the tension. And just as I’m trying to ground my feet, my little boy zooms past. In that exact moment, the freeze melts.
It’s a constant dance...figuring out how to hold onto me while being a mama who is fully present and playful in his world.
It’s not about being perfect, it’s about learning how to let his joy pull me out of my own head.
