Just returned from a deeply moving trip to Ukraine, where I delivered a huge amount of medical aid and vehicles to the frontline. The devastation I witnessed is hard to put into words—the wreckage, the faces of families torn apart, the silent resilience of those who remain. The reality of war, the toll it takes on innocent lives, has shaken me to my core.
We met people whose lives will never be the same—parents grieving lost children in grave yards, medical staff exhausted but refusing to give up, children whose childhoods have been stolen by violence now in an orphanage.
What struck me most was the profound strength they showed despite the unimaginable hardship. These are stories I will carry with me forever, a reminder that behind the headlines and statistics are human lives, shattered but still holding on.
This journey has profoundly changed me. It has opened my eyes to the fragility of peace and the enduring power of compassion. The friends I traveled with, all of us humbled by what we saw, share the same feeling—that our work is just a drop in the ocean, but it’s a drop that matters.
Ukraine, you are in my heart. I will never forget the faces, the stories, the courage. It is our duty to continue helping in any way we can, to support those who need it most, and to never forget the cost of war on humanity.
