I am delighted that my next Motherhood Matters Circle is now open for booking.

This 6-week, therapist-led support circle for mums in early motherhood (along with babies-in-arms) starts in-person on the 3rd of June in Churchtown, from 9.30am - 11am each Wednesday.

I have developed this for you if:

😔It’s very hard to find time for yourself and almost impossible to switch off.
😔While you adore your baby, you are not able to “enjoy every minute”.
😔You feel very disconnected from your "old" life, and wonders if you'll ever feel "normal" again.
😔You feel under pressure to be all things to all people, with very little space to just be YOU.
😔You’re wondering “when will this get easier?"

Through joining this Motherhood Matters Circle, my aim for you is that you walk away with:

🫶🏼The rollercoaster of motherhood feeling more manageable.
🫶🏼A framework to make sense of the physical, mental, emotional and relationship changes motherhood has brought.
🫶🏼Quick practices that you can easily integrate into your baby-care routine to check in with yourself and give your nervous system a break.
🫶🏼Feeling confident about mothering your baby your way, and for other people’s opinions and expectations to bounce off you.
🫶🏼The support of a group of mothers (including a psychotherapist!) who accept you exactly as you are, who “get it”, because they are navigating this massive transition too.

Over the course of 6 weekly meet-ups, you will connect with other new mums who are having similar experiences, challenges and wins, and learn skills and tools that will support your thoughts, feelings, self-care practices and relationships.

Booking link in my bio , or DM.

There isn't any other programme that I know of like this, which is exactly why I offer it, but I completely understand that as a result you may have questions about it, so please do not hesitate to DM me if you want to ask me anything or would like to have a chat about it.

Take care,
Marci

Through Motherhood Matters Circles, new and new-again mums are supported to put themselves and their own self-care on their own priority list.

The next Motherhood Matters Circle starts next Wednesday the 27th of May.

Will you be in it?

Please share this with any mother who you think might benefit from being the Motherhood Matters Circle.

Take care,

For the month of September I am going to try to focus my attention on my self-care habits in the midst of the back-to-school busyness! Behaviours, Thoughts and Feelings form the CBT triangle, and a change in any one of these areas can be the beginning of feeling better as each one affects the others. Relationships and Fun/Joy are two other areas of self-care I work on with my clients. I'll share a quick, easy and enjoyable activity based on each of these five areas , starting with a tasty and healthy snack in the next post!

Our next group is starting on Friday 16th September. If you would like to connect with other mothers of young babies and start to build that village everyone says it takes, then this group is for you. It's the group I wish I could have joined when I was in the fog of early motherhood. Based on my own experience and my training as a psychotherapist, this group provides the support you need in your transition into motherhood. Send me a message for more information or to arrange a time to chat, I'd love to hear from you.
