I'm looking forward to facilitating a workshop for the American Psychological Association tomorrow: 'Complementary or Competitive? The Role of Technology in Psychological Practice'

The session will explore how tech use isn't good or bad in itself- it's all in how you go about it and specifically whether it is a fit for the client, practitioner and form of practice.

Three types of complementarity are considered—working alliance, incorporation and entrainment—in the context of a range of technological supports including AI, experiential technology, and telehealth.

Wrapping up a fantastic evening for GAMIAN-Europe The Vibrant Mind exhibition launch! Great to see Dr Dean McDonnell (PSI International Liaison Officer) who played a key role in bringing this event to life, with Dr John Francis Leader (Honorary Secretary and Interim Chair of the recently re-launched Special Interest Group in Media, the Arts, and Cyberpsychology). The exhibition will run for the next two weeks in SETU Carlow - drop by and explore the connection between creativity and mental well-being.
