The Talbot Group is looking for the next generation of Social Care professionals. We are offering a 3-year Apprenticeship in Social Care in partnership with University College Cork, kicking off this September 2026.

If you already have a minimum of 12 months of experience working in a social care setting and want to take your career to the Level 8 degree standard, this is your chance.

Why apply?
✅Earn while you learn with a steady salary of €31,618 per year.
✅Spend 2 days a week on-site at UCC and 3 days in blended/practical learning.
✅Receive a permanent Social Care Worker contract with the Talbot Group upon successful completion and CORU registration (5-year post-grad commitment applies).
Key Requirements:
✅12 months minimum experience in a social care setting.
✅Full, clean Category B Irish Driving Licence.
✅Must meet Leaving Cert or QQI Level 5/6 entry requirements.

🕒 The Hours: Stable, guaranteed part-time options (38 hours per fortnight).
🏫 The Schedule: Daytime shifts that align with school hours—meaning you can be there for drop-off and pick-up, with no evenings or weekends required!

Recently, the residents and staff of The Willows decided to celebrate the arrival of summer and the good weather with a garden party.

Everyone came together on the front lawn to enjoy a delicious BBQ, refreshing mocktails, music, and plenty of laughter. Residents and staff made the most of the sunshine, singing along to favourite songs and creating wonderful memories together.
