About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our care team in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan.
We welcome applications from experienced Healthcare Assistants as well as candidates who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful, compassionate care and support to service users.
Assist with personal care, mobility and daily living activities.
Promote dignity, independence and choice.
Support service users with their individual care plans.
Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Work closely with nurses, senior care staff and other healthcare professionals.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.
Contribute to creating a safe, comfortable and positive environment.
Requirements
QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent is desirable.
Previous healthcare or social care experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient and respectful approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends where required.
