🌿 Foods That Fight vs. Feed Inflammation 🌶️**
Your body’s natural defence, inflammation, can become a problem when it’s chronic, leading to health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and autoimmune problems. But here's the good news-you have the power to influence it with the foods you choose to eat every day.
🟢 FIGHT Inflammation: Add into your diet where you can.
Leafy greens, Berries (blueberries, strawberries), Fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines), and Turmeric. Curcumin, the active compound, is a potent anti-inflammatory. I never shut up about it. I add it daily to smoothies, porridge, etc.
Olive oil: Healthy fats that reduce inflammation and support heart health.
🔴 FEED Inflammation with Try limit the following -
Ultra-processed foods | the junk...the halo health foods, don't get me started
Refined carbs, fried foods, processed meats, alcohol, excessive Omega 6's, sugars, some artificial sweeteners, trans fats, etc.
Just being aware of these - can influence your decisions. Simple changes.
