🌱 Six Weeks on Avocado Avenue 🌱

Six weeks ago, I took the leap from my home garden to an allotment, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I've made in 2026.

As an avid supporter of understanding exactly what my family eats—from farm to fork—I love being able to grow my own vegetables, fruits, and herbs while reconnecting with nature. There is something incredibly rewarding about planting a seed, nurturing it, and eventually harvesting fresh produce for the dinner table.

Gardening isn't just good for the body; it's fantastic for the mind too. Spending time outdoors, getting your hands in the soil, and watching things grow can reduce stress, improve wellbeing, and create a real sense of achievement.

It's also made me think even more about sustainability and the environmental impact of our food choices. That's where Eco-Score comes in—helping us understand the environmental footprint of the foods we buy and consume.

One Week Later and I am so proud of the turnaround. Its being an absolute dream for years to have an allotment. Last week I cant describe it to anyone once I arrived this exact plot felt so right. I cant wait for the learnings, the hardship and of course the most nourishing return on the crop.

Had my first seeds delivery from .ie

I usually plant at home, this year I made the brave decision to get an allotment and enjoy the nourishing foods, while also enjoying the peace with nature.

way to excited for this moment. offically have my allotment. We are super excited to move from the back garden and enjoy a more sustainable life. The most beautiful setting at the edge of the mountains. I know Il have peace here. it felt exactly where i needed to be. let the crop of the season begin
