Eilis began training in Mindfulness Based Approaches at the Centre for Mindfulness, Research and Practice at the University of Wales, Bangor in 2009. In 2015 she was awarded Certification, with the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society, University of Massachusetts, Medical School. She has also completed training at CMRP as a Supervisor for mindfulness teachers. She adheres to
the Good Practice Guidelines for Mindfulness Teachers, attending regular retreats and committing to ongoing professional development and training in the area of Mindfulness. Eilis delivers Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) courses to both groups and individuals. Additionally she offers regular mindfulness sessions every second Sunday morning - more recently online.
Éilis is interested in the impact mindfulness can make in all areas of society and is a board member of Mindful Nation Ireland. In addition to teaching Mindfulness programmes, Eilis has a well established Psychotherapy practice in Dublin.
