The more I understand myself, the less I feel I need to force myself to be someone else.

This is one of the reasons I’ve kept returning to astrology, Human Design, numerology and the cycles we move through.
They can help us understand why we respond in certain ways, recognise patterns we might not have noticed and learn what actually supports us.

This is really why I’ve created Your Blueprint.

I’ve spent the last few weeks putting together the slides and workbook and, I’m excited to see it all taking shape.

Over five weeks, we’ll begin with cycles and numerology, before moving into Human Design, astrology and the body as a guide. In the final week, we’ll bring everything together into your own personal blueprint.

The workbook is a big part of it too. You’ll work with each theme between our sessions and gradually create something personal that you can continue to use and come back to.

I’ll guide you through it, but you’ll do your own exploring.

All five sessions are recorded, so you can still take part if you can’t attend every week live.

We begin online on Wednesday, 7th October. The programme is €222 and I’m keeping the group small, with a maximum of 12 people. Five people have already signed up, which I’m delighted about.

If you’re curious or would like me to send you the details, just send me a message.

If you’ve been feeling more tired, emotional, unsettled or reflective lately, you’re not the only one!

There is a lunar eclipse in Pisces in the early hours of Friday, 28 August. Lunar eclipses can bring things to the surface and often mark a completion… something ready to be acknowledged or released, even if we don’t fully understand it yet.

This is one of the things I love about astrology. It can give context to what we’re feeling and remind us that we’re not experiencing it alone.

I painted this earlier in the year, around the last lunar eclipse. The process became a meditation I needed at the time. It feels meaningful to return to it now, as this eclipse brings another part of that cycle towards completion.

Knowing which house Pisces falls in within your birth chart can help you understand where these themes may be showing up.

For me, Pisces is in my fifth house, the part of my chart connected with creativity, self-expression and joy.

The Leo solar eclipse earlier this month brought up some shadows around why I create and share my work. The part of me that wants to put something meaningful into the world, but can still look for feedback or reassurance while also feeling tentative about being fully seen.

Recently everything has felt quite tender. There has been so much clearing this year, both visible and invisible, and I still feel somewhere between what has ended and what is unfolding.

Maybe this eclipse isn’t asking us to have the next chapter worked out. Perhaps it’s asking us to allow something to be complete, leave some space and listen for what wants to come through next.

Do you know which house Pisces falls in for you? Or have you been feeling any of this already?

This is some of what we’ll explore in Your Blueprint… using astrology alongside Human Design, numerology, life cycles and embodied practices to build a deeper understanding of ourselves.

The five-week programme begins in October. If it has sparked your curiosity, send me a message and I’ll share the details.

We happened to be in Mallorca for the solar eclipse. Completely unplanned.

I’d actually been more interested in the energetic meaning than the visual side of it, but as it got closer there was so much excitement around us.

There were big gatherings nearby, but we chose to watch beside the sea near our apartment. A little quieter, but still able to enjoy the atmosphere. Some of us even swam out to experience the total eclipse from the water, which was pretty amazing.

There was something really lovely about the shared joy of it all. Everyone looking up at the same sky, experiencing this thing together.

And then the moment when the sky went completely dark… followed by the light slowly returning. Pretty magical.

Energetically I felt strange all day. Afterwards I had a headache around my forehead/third eye and felt really tired. Things definitely felt like they were moving and shifting, although I probably won’t know exactly how for a while.

I did have a little regret afterwards too. Should we have planned it more? Gone somewhere “better”? Made more of this extraordinary experience?

But we made the choice that felt right at the time, with the information we had. It’s only afterwards, with a different perspective, that we can wonder if we should have chosen differently.

And maybe there’s something in that for me.

This week has brought quite a shift towards my family and the relationships that are most important to me. Supporting each other through emotions, caring for each other and being there.

With my Aquarius Moon and lunar nodes across Leo/Aquarius, this eclipse feels particularly personal.

Leo is so much about the heart and being authentically ourselves, rather than looking outside ourselves at what everyone else is doing or what an experience is supposed to look like.

Maybe there was no “better” place to be.

We were beside the sea, together, watching the world go dark before the light returned.

These moments are precious.

Maybe it’s less about making the perfect choice and more about trusting what felt right at the time.

I’ve always loved how different systems seem to point towards the same truths.

Whether it’s astrology, Human Design, numerology, yoga or simply paying attention to the body…

they all invite us to become a little more aware of ourselves.

August carries an interesting energy.

As the eighth month in a Universal Year 1, it brings us to the vibration of 9, the end of a cycle.

It’s a chance to reflect before something new begins.

Rather than rushing into the next thing, perhaps ask yourself:

• What am I carrying that no longer belongs to who I’m becoming?
• What patterns have I finally recognised?
• What would I like this next chapter to feel like?

These are exactly the kinds of questions we’ll explore together inside Your Blueprint this October.

It isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about understanding who you’ve been all along, how you make decisions, what supports your energy, why certain patterns keep repeating, and creating a personal blueprint you can return to again and again.

If you’ve been curious about joining, send me a message. I’d love to tell you more.

His music wasn’t just heard.
It was felt.

Over the past few days, I’ve been struck by the sheer number of people sharing what Glen Hansard’s music meant to them.

His songs seemed to evoke something deeply emotional, not just in me, but in people all over the world. Reading so many tributes made me wonder what it is about some artists that creates that kind of connection.

As many of you know, I’m fascinated by the different lenses that help us understand ourselves, so naturally I found myself looking at his astrology and numerology.

A Ta**us Sun, with Mercury, Venus and Saturn also in Ta**us. A Libra Moon. Jupiter in Scorpio. A Life Path 6.

Whether you believe in these systems or not, I couldn’t help noticing how beautifully they seemed to reflect the qualities that people so often described in his music: authenticity, beauty, depth, honesty and heart.

Of course, a chart doesn’t explain a person.

But sometimes it gives us another language for describing what we instinctively recognise.

I also found it quietly poignant that his passing came around the time of the Guru Full Moon. Not because I believe astrology predicts these moments, but because of what that moon symbolises: honouring those who teach, guide and leave a lasting imprint on our lives.

It made me think that our teachers aren’t always people we know personally.

Sometimes they’re musicians.
Sometimes they’re artists.
Sometimes they’re writers.

People whose work quietly accompanies us through different chapters of our lives.

Watching the outpouring of love over the past few days has been a reminder of the impact one person’s authenticity can have.

Maybe that’s why his music wasn’t just heard.

It was felt. ❤️

I didn’t realise something was shifting until I looked back at what I’d been watching and reading.

On the days when I had the time, all I wanted to do was watch a great TV series or lose myself in a novel, not another self-improvement book (which I usually love!).

Over the past few weeks, I’ve watched Clarkson’s Farm (Season 5), The Salt Path, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople (an amazing New Zealand film), and I’ve just finished listening to Yesteryear by Caro Claire Byrne, which completely consumed me over the past few days.

It was only when I looked back that I realised they all shared the same themes: home, land, memory, family, belonging, displacement, and the search for somewhere or someone, that makes us feel rooted.

(And I was also lent If Women Rose Rooted by Sharon Blackie, so that’s waiting patiently on my bedside table… 😉)

Maybe I’m processing. Maybe I’m using other people’s stories to help me make sense of my own. Or maybe I’m just tired.

But I have a feeling I’m probably not alone.

Whether or not you follow astrology, we’ve just come through Cancer season and a Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Symbolically, it’s a time that’s often associated with turning inward, revisiting the past, seeking emotional safety, and reflecting on what home really means. Looking back, it feels beautifully aligned with where my attention has naturally gone.

Now we’re in Leo season, and Mercury has turned direct. The shift probably won’t happen overnight, but I’m curious to see what begins to move again and what wants to step into the light. Leo is, after all, ruled by the Sun.

Perhaps it’s time to gently emerge from the emotional waters of Cancer and see what all that quiet processing has been preparing us for.

And if you’re looking for recommendations, all four are well worth your time, but Yesteryear was especially all-consuming. I couldn’t stop listening!

One thing I’ve learnt over the past few years is that self-awareness creates choice.

The more I understand myself, the less I feel the need to compare, force or fit into someone else’s way of being.

That’s a journey I’m still on, and one I’m looking forward to sharing more of over the coming months.

For a long time, I accepted the labels I was given.

Quiet.
Shy.
Sensitive.
An overthinker.

Some of those may well be true.

But over the last few years, I’ve started wondering if they were only ever part of the story.

What if being quiet meant I needed time to process?

What if being sensitive meant I noticed things others didn’t?

What if the parts of ourselves we’ve spent years trying to change are actually pointing us towards understanding who we are?

That question has changed so much for me.

Not because I’ve become a different person…

But because I’ve begun to understand myself with a little more curiosity and a little less judgement.

I’d love to know… is there a label you’ve carried that no longer feels like the whole story
