Chartered Physiotherapist (CORU & MISCP registered) providing expert care for Sports injuries, Musculoskeletal & Orthopaedic conditions, Women & Pelvic Health, dry needling & shockwave therapy. My name is Anisha Bansda-Chauhan, and I am a CORU-registered and MISCP Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in orthopaedic, sports and women’s pelvic health physiotherapy. I graduated with a BS
c Physiotherapy from Stellenbosch University in 2014 and have gained clinical experience across Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and now Dublin. Before moving to Ireland, I founded and ran Bansda Physiotherapy in South Africa for 8 years, where I treated a wide range of patients, from everyday aches and pains to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and women’s health concerns. At Bansda Physiotherapy, I provide assessment and treatment for back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, joint and muscle pain, post-operative rehabilitation, pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and postnatal concerns, incontinence, pelvic pain and postpartum recovery. Treatments may include manual therapy, spinal mobilisation, manipulation, dry needling, shockwave therapy, ultrasound, interferential therapy, deep oscillation, pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation, taping, strengthening exercises and personalised rehabilitation programmes. My approach is holistic, evidence-informed and patient-centred. I believe in treating the whole person — physically, emotionally and functionally — while helping each patient understand their body, reduce pain, improve movement and return to the activities that matter most to them. Bansda Physiotherapy welcomes patients from Drumcondra, Glasnevin, Phibsborough, Whitehall, Marino, Clontarf, Fairview, Santry, Ballybough and the wider Dublin area.
