Some wonderful before and after pictures of a DMK acne client Charlie. We asked him a few questions about his acne treatment with DMK and his responses are posted below! We are so happy DMK has been able to turn Charlie's life and confidence around!
How I felt when having Acne
Prior to having any treatment I had suffered from Acne from an age of 13, however my condition wasn't quite as severe as shown in the images below. Initially my skin never caused me any discomfort or effected me in any way, until I progressed further in secondary school where I
noticed my skin progressively getting worse. As my skin condition got worse I was the point where I contacted my local GP and was prescribed various Antibiotics, creams, gels and washes over a lengthy period of time and noticed small improvements, however this didn't last long.
As my skin progressively got worse I noticed the medication wasn't having any effect, and instead I was just filling my body with medication that wasn't benefitting me. After trying various prescription medication I opted for off the shelf products, and tried nearly everything they had to offer! While trying all the different products available I noticed the products were maintaining my skin and not improving it, however this better then my skin getting worse!
I noticed my skin getting dramatically worse as I got older, which had a huge knock on effect on my appearance and self confidence. During late 2012 I decided to try an in clinic treatment called iSClinical, in a local clinic called Qutis. After going for various consultations I was advised the treatment would work for my skin type and I should see huge improvements. With the iSClinical treatment the patient is advised to use home products alongside having a in clinic treatment known as ‘Fire and Ice’ to see the best results. After having In clinic treatments and using the home products for several weeks I had noticed no improvement in my skin, instead I noticed my skin becoming incredibly red, sensitive and spot numbers increasing, by this point I had decided to stopped using Qutis Clinical products as I had worse skin then prior to the treatment.

After visiting my local GP again she referred me to a dermatologist as she felt she couldn't offer anything suitable for my condition. After having a consultation with my dermatologist they felt the most suitable product for my type of acne was Roaccutane, which I decided not to take due to reading all the various side effects to the medication online. What happened during the treatments
Whats so amazing about the Danne treatment is it caters for all skin types and is adjusted according to the severeness of your acne. During the course of the treatment Susanne ensures she offers the best treatment possible on the condition of your skin on the day to ensure the best results possible. There are many in clinic products that are used during the course of the treatment, this ranges from an initial cleanse and skin inspection which Is then followed by other products along side the Enzyme mask. After having the initial products and Enzyme mask various products similar to the home products are applied to the face, ranging from herb and mineral spray, beta gel and contraderm to reconstruct and protect the skin.
What products I use
Initially when starting the treatment you are introduced to the Acu range which consists of Acu Klense, Acu Moist, Beta Gel, Acu Klear and Acu Moist, which are you main products that you would use on a daily basis. Once the skin becomes stronger and more responsive to the products you will be introduced to the Alpha range which consists of a Micro Peel which is an exfoliating gel, alongside an Acu Mask. I usually use a combination of the Micro Peel and Acu Mark every three days to freshen up my skin and remove any dead skin. I would highly recommend these two products to anyone with Acne prone skin as it freshens and strengthens your skin and clears any raised/swollen spots. Also you will be introduced to a product called Retosin which is a cream that you would apply to your face before bed, I would say this is the magical product! Manages to work wonders on my skin over night!
How I feel now
I have been on the Danne Montague King Treatment for just over eight months, during this time my skin has improved dramatically, with people telling me my skin looks better every day! Since being on the treatment my self confidence has improved dramatically and my skin has very little effect on my appearance. I believe if it wasn't for the DMK treatment I wouldn't be the more confident person I am today!
Would I recommend a friend to DMK
I would highly recommend Danne Montague King to anyone with any try of skin condition especially Acne. I believe they will receive a one of the kind treatment and see huge improvements with the condition within weeks!
