The fantastic residents of Woodview were out on their travels again — this time enjoying a wonderful visit to Irish National Stud.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, everyone enjoyed exploring the grounds, learning more about the horses and spending time together in this wonderful setting.

The National Stud got the Woodview seal of approval and they gave it a 5🌟rating.

Looks like a great day out!

♿💙 Today is Make Way Day 2026, a national campaign highlighting the importance of keeping public spaces and pathways accessible for everyone.

At St. Michael’s House, we are committed to supporting people with disabilities to advocate for their rights and help create more accessible and inclusive communities.

Today we are proud to share the story of Celina from our Enterprise Local Centre 👏

After Celina and her friend Sarah experienced a fall caused by an uneven footpath in their local area, Celina decided to take action so nobody else would get hurt.

With support from her key worker Michael, Celina contacted City Council to raise the issue. The team at Dublin City Council responded quickly and arranged repairs to make the pathway safer for everyone.

This is a wonderful example of self-advocacy, community action, and making a positive difference 🌟

Well done Celina, and thank you to Dublin City Council for the quick response and support.

💙 Today St. Michael’s House is celebrating community fundraising, awareness, and the incredible impact people can make when they come together to support important causes.

Earlier today, we celebrated the wonderful fundraising efforts of Rita and Mary from Ferndale and Avondale, who raised funds in support of Breast Cancer awareness services 💗

Now we are celebrating the fantastic gang from Starbrook Nutgrove Hub, who were out in force supporting the incredible FTD Brothers as they completed their final marathon, an amazing achievement marking marathon number 33 🏃‍♂️🏅

The FTD Brothers have been raising vital funds and awareness for the The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and the FTD Foundation, helping to shine a light on dementia and the importance of ongoing support, research and advocacy.

The Starbrook group were busy this morning preparing for the event and cheering on the FTD Brothers throughout their journey to raise awareness and support the search for a cure 👏💙

Well done to everyone involved in these inspiring community fundraising efforts.

Their continued commitment and community spirit have been inspiring, and we are delighted to hear they are already planning an even bigger event and display for next year 🤞💗
