FULL TUTORIAL ON HOW TO ORDER PRESCRIPTIONS VIA OUR ONLINE PORTAL
Our online portal https://thepharmacyshop.ie/ is how we queue our prescriptions. It is an easily accessible platform that ensures you can get your medication as fast as possible. If you attend the doctors and they send prescription, like all pharmacies, this has to be ordered with us also.
By ordering via the online platform, it saves you having to come into the pharmacy to order and then again to collect. This is because on busy days there may be a queue ahead of you and you may not be able to get the prescription immediately when you order.
The videos above walk you through registering for the first time and ordering. When you register you need to set a password and verify your identity. You do not need to do this every time you order.
When you log in to order medication there are a few options available to you. If your doctor sent a prescription over to us, you can type that into the search box as shown in the video. If you have ordered via the portal before and you have a repeat prescription then you can select that option either. You can also upload a picture if you have a physical prescription.
There is also a section for “Notes” if for example you only want one item out of your prescription or if you have a question.
You can also select who collects for you- the default is yourself but you can select someone else if you like.
You can then pick a day to pick up your prescription- please note if you pick the same day as you are ordering we cannot guarantee we have the stock so try to order a few days in advance so you don’t run out of medication.
When you submit your order, you will get a confirmation. Then we will send you a notification via email and WhatsApp when your prescription is ready to collect. This notification is shown on the last slide.
If you are unable to submit your order online then you can come into the pharmacy with your phone and we will put it through for you.
