D-Day weekend in Collon!

🇮🇪 Irish Military Museum – D-Day Event 🇮🇪

Step back into June 1944 and experience history brought to life.

Join us for a full weekend of:

• WWII reenactments
• Resistance and Airborne displays
• Living history camps
• Skirmishes that tell the story of occupied France and the liberation of Europe
• Military vehicles and equipment
• Interactive experiences for all ages, including spy activities for children

Experience the atmosphere of occupied Europe, discover the stories of resistance fighters and secret agents, meet Allied troops preparing for liberation, and learn about the realities faced by civilians during wartime.

Another fantastic talk by Patrick Quigley, Chairman of the Irish Polish Society. This time lecture titled "Centenary of the coup d’etat by Marshal Josef Pilsudski".
