What an incredible few days. โค๏ธ
I had the honour of competing once again at the World Massage Championships 2026 in Copenhagen, proudly representing Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช and the IMTAIreland. Every time I get the opportunity to stand alongside some of the world's best therapists, I'm reminded why I love this profession so much.
This experience was about so much more than competing. It was about learning, growing, making new friends, and connecting with therapists from all over the world who all share the same passion for helping others. The level of skill, kindness, and support I witnessed throughout the event was truly inspiring, and I came home with so much motivation to keep improving my own practice.
A heartfelt thank you to the IMTA for looking after us so well from start to finish. Having our flights, accommodation, transport, and team kit organised meant we could focus on making the most of this amazing experience. The workshops, talks, and time spent with fellow therapists made it even more special.
Outside of the championships, I also managed to explore Copenhagen's brilliant vegan food scene. ๐ฑ Huge thanks to , Govinda's, and the incredible for keeping me well fed!
I'm heading home feeling proud, grateful, inspired... and completely exhausted! ๐
Time to catch up on some much-needed sleep, reflect on everything I've learned, and look forward to what comes next.
