🎶 Music Health Ireland has places available for Music & Care – A Spectrum of Possibilities, a practical professional development workshop for people working directly with older adults in residential and day care settings.

🎵 No musical experience needed

This is not a workshop about becoming a musician.

It is about learning simple, creative, person-centred ways to use music, rhythm and percussion in everyday care, supporting residents to make choices, participate, communicate, reminisce, express themselves and connect with others.

Led by internationally renowned percussionist, researcher and educator Dr.Jane Bentley, alongside Music & Health Ireland Programme Leaders, the afternoon will combine hands-on activities, live demonstrations, discussion and shared learning.

You’ll leave with practical ideas you can take straight back into your care setting.

For Nursing Home Providers and Directors of Nursing, this is an opportunity to offer your team CPD that is directly relevant to their work, and designed to translate into meaningful experiences for the people in their care.
