You've tried the sleep hygiene. The supplements. The medications. The sleep study.

But what if your insomnia is actually a symptom, not the problem?

Here’s what I tell clients who have been struggling with sleep for months or years. 💤✨

Find and fix the hidden imbalances (in your gut, hormones, neurotransmitters, minerals and toxins) that are causing your sleep issues, work with a sleep coach for 6 months to get your body back into balance and boom! This is the approach I used when nothing else worked and I now use to help dozens of peolple sleep well again.

If this is you comment SLEEP and I'll send you more info.

If you've got sleep issues, magnesium would not be the first thing I'd reach for.

Most of my clients have already tried magnesium by the time they find me.

Sometimes it helps. Sometimes it helps for a while and then stops working. And often, it doesn't make much difference at all.

Here's why:

Magnesium doesn't work in isolation. It's part of a complex mineral system that includes calcium, sodium, potassium, and other essential minerals that most people have never tested.

When those minerals are out of balance, adding more magnesium can be like adding weight to one side of a scale that's already tipped. Instead of restoring balance, it can sometimes push things further in the wrong direction.

Then there's another piece of the puzzle that often gets overlooked: heavy metals.
This is why I prefer testing over guessing. And I run functional lab testing, four tests to be exact, starting with the HTMA, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis.

Rather than recommending the same supplement to everyone, (HTMA) gives me a snapshot of your mineral patterns and potential heavy metal burden so we can identify what your body actually needs.

For some people, supporting electrolytes with products such as Jarrow Bone-Up or Hi-Lyte Potassium 1000 can be helpful and that's where I'd start.

But my favorite approach is creating a customized mineral protocol based on your individual HTMA results and a custom mineral blend from

This approach helped my client Marian experience ‘a switch'. She said 'I feel content and calm, something I havent experienced in years’.

She is off all sleeping meds and went from 3 hours sleep a night to 8 hours and I can safely say that mineral balancing was a key part of her recovery.

Your sleep challenges may not be a magnesium deficiency.

They may be a mineral imbalance.

And until you identify the imbalance, you're often just guessing.

If you'd like to uncover what's really driving your sleep issues, comment SLEEP and I'll send you my masterclass which explains how it works

Once we have all the right pieces in place, it’s the small wins each week that create life-changing results.

For the men and women who choose to work with my team and I, these wins are achieved through consistent, intentional action and the right support along the way. It's a very different approach from the sleep tips, supplements, medications, and strategies they've often been relying on for years.

When the true root cause of insomnia is identified and addressed, everything starts to change.

What once felt impossible begins to feel achievable.

You start falling asleep more easily. Night-time wake-ups become less frequent. Your energy improves. Your confidence returns. And for the first time in a long time, you begin to believe that great sleep is actually possible for you.

Even for those who have struggled with sleep for years, the progress is often built through small, consistent improvements that compound week after week.

The magic isn't in one big change—it's in the consistent, intentional steps, combined with expert guidance and support, that allow you to finally become the person who sleeps naturally and confidently again.

Why you need a sleep coach ✨

You’ve had insomnia for months or years

You’ve tried many things and been to many doctors and practitioners only to be told you’re fine or it’s all in your head

You may even have been to a functional medicine practitioner before

Here’s what’s different about working with me.

I specialize in sleep.

Every single day, sleep is all I’ve focused on for the last 5 years. I’ve seen every imbalance and every pattern that explains why there’s something in your body keeping you awake.

And I’ve had insomnia myself.

It wasn’t until I found functional medicine and ran my own functional labs that I finally got answers. I had two parasites in my gut, hormone imbalance and a congested liver. All of these were ruining my sleep. That’s when I got my sleep back and now I help others do the same.

The support and accountability on the program is how I really help you.

Daily email support. Weekly zoom calls. A personalized protocol based on your results. A community of like minded individuals.

My client Caty said: “stick with it. It really works. This program has been life changing. It’s helped my sleep and my anxiety is gone

The functional labs tell me what’s causing your insomnia.

The support on the program is how we really fix it.

Imagine sleeping for 7 hours a night and no longer having to worry about sleep again.

The next step is to book a discovery call with me, link in bio and on easysleepmethod.com/application

Every night her body was exhausted…

but her brain felt fully awake.

Racing thoughts.
Light sleep.
3am wake-ups.
Heart pounding.
Feeling “wired but tired.”

She tried everything:
Sleep hygiene.
Meditation.
CBTi.
Supplements.
Sleeping tablets.
Cutting caffeine.
Therapy.

Nothing lasted.

Everyone told her:
“You’re stressed.”
“You need to relax.”
“It’s just your nervous system.”

But when I ran her functional labs, the picture became very clear.

One pattern stood out immediately:

Severe mineral depletion.

Her magnesium was critically low.
Her sodium and potassium levels showed adrenal stress.
Her nervous system literally did not have the mineral reserves needed to switch off properly.

And that was only part of the picture.

Her testing also revealed:
• Low progesterone - which meant she was unable to fall asleep
• Neurotransmitter imbalances - she had low GABA which is like the brakes system
• Copper dysregulation - keeps people wired and unable to switch off

This is what most people with insomnia never get told:

Your brain doesn’t stay awake for no reason.

The body is always responding to something.

And until you identify the root cause…

you keep trying to solve insomnia at the level of symptoms.

This is why I use functional lab testing.

Because insomnia is often a physiology problem before it’s ever a sleep problem.

Six months later?

She finally slept through the night.

Not because we forced sleep.

Because we fixed what was disrupting it.

If you’re aged 44–65 and feel like you’ve tried everything…

Do you feel like you’re doing everything right… but still lying awake at 3am every night?

You’re not alone.

Caty came to me after 20 years of insomnia.

She had already tried:
• Two CBT-I courses with sleep experts
• Sleeping medication
• Anti-anxiety medication
• Every sleep hygiene tip imaginable

And still… she was surviving on around 3 hours sleep a night.

Every night she woke at 3am.
Every day she lived in anxiety.

By evening, the fear of another sleepless night would creep in before her head even hit the pillow.

She also struggled with psoriasis, exhaustion, overwhelm, and felt like her nervous system was permanently “on.”

What did her functional testing reveal?

Not a “sleep problem.”

👉 Two parasites
👉 Leaky gut
👉 Heavy metal toxicity
👉 Mineral imbalances
👉 Low hormones
👉 Neurotransmitter depletion affecting both sleep and mental health

This is why I always say:

Insomnia is rarely just in the mind.
And it’s rarely solved with another sleep tip.

Month by month, we rebuilt her health.

We supported her nervous system.
Worked on the gut (a lot!)
Reduced the toxic load.
Removed mercury.
Balanced neurotransmitters.

Our psychotherapist also helped her stop spiralling around sleep anxiety while the biology underneath it was being addressed.

And then something incredible happened…

After eliminating the parasites, Caty slept past 3am for the first time in YEARS.

(Yes… she even sent me photos of the worms she passed during her protocol 👀)

Now?

She’s sleeping 6–7 hours most nights.

And the part that gets me most…

She’s finally writing the novel she had wanted to write for the last 10 years — but never had the energy, clarity, or nervous system capacity to finish.

Her words to me yesterday:

“You’ve changed my life.”

This is why I do what I do.

Because sometimes the problem isn’t that you’re failing.

It’s that nobody has looked deeply enough to find what’s actually keeping your body stuck.

If this sounds like your story too… comment YES below and I’ll send you a link to my free masterclass 👇

My client hadn’t slept past 3am in over five years.

Five years.

Not a minute past 3am.

She was doing everything “right”…

Sleep hygiene.
Cutting caffeine.
Eating well.
Trying to stay calm.
Taking medication from her doctor just to fall asleep.

She had already worked with a functional medicine practitioner.
She had seen a nutritionist.
She had been put on a restrictive diet.

And still — every night — 3am.

When I looked at her functional lab results, the picture became very clear.

Her results showed:

Overgrowth of bacteria in the gut.
Mineral depletion.
Low hormones.
Neurotransmitter imbalances.
Lead toxicity.

So no — this wasn’t because she wasn’t trying hard enough.

It wasn’t because she needed another bedtime routine.

And it wasn’t because she needed to be more disciplined.

Her body was waking her up for a reason.

I told her the fix was simple in theory — but it would take around six months of structured work to rebuild the body properly.

This is why I don’t care how healthy you think you’re eating.

Or how often you exercise.

Or how perfect your sleep hygiene is.

Until I see your functional lab results, we are only guessing.

Because the effort means nothing if you’re solving the wrong problem.

If you’re waking at 3am every night, your body isn’t broken.

It’s giving you data.

And the right testing can show us exactly where to start.

For women and men aged 45-65

If you’re stuck in this loop and this sounds familiar...

I’ve put together a free webinar where I break this down in a very simple way.

Comment SLEEP and I’ll send it to you.

You probably do this every morning, thinking you’re being healthy. 🥣✨

Oats. Cereal. Toast.

After all, we’ve been told for years that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

But when it comes to sleep… this could be the very thing standing in your way.

Starting your day with a high-carbohydrate, sugary breakfast sends your blood sugar soaring — only to crash a few hours later. 📉

And that rollercoaster continues all day and sometimes causes a dip in the night, resulting in night sweats, palpitations and anxiety.

Not only that....

This 'dip' destabilises cortisol — one of the biggest drivers of night waking and insomnia.

This is one of the first changes I ask my clients to make when they want their sleep back:

✨ Stop eating sweet breakfasts.
✨ Start eating savoury ones instead.

Think:

🍳 Eggs
🥓 Bacon and eggs
🥑 Avocado with smoked salmon
🥤 A high-protein smoothie

A savoury, protein-rich breakfast stabilises blood sugar, supports balanced cortisol, and sets the foundation for deeper, uninterrupted sleep.

Sometimes, better sleep starts with what’s on your plate in the morning.

Comment “SAVOURY” and I’ll send you my favourite savoury breakfast recipes. 💬

If you’ve been told to *“just relax,”
*“try a hot bath,”

or *“stop overthinking it”…

…while you lie awake night after night — you’re not the problem.

You’ve been trying to solve something real with advice that was never designed for *your* root cause.

Because insomnia isn’t one-size-fits-all.
And it’s definitely not a personal failure.

When you finally understand *why* your sleep is broken, everything shifts:

✨ The frustration turns into clarity
✨ The guesswork turns into a plan
✨ The hopelessness turns into progress

When you work with me my ethos is test don’t guess and I run functional lab tests on you (on your gut, hormones, neurotransmitters, hair and environment) which reveal the real reasons in your body that are keeping you awake.

When I meet people for their results session they say: thank goodness you’ve uncovered what’s wrong and I am happy I’ve now got a roadmap to fix my sleep….ive been told for years to jus relax, take a hot bath or been handed a 💊

This is the moment my clients reach — when they stop blaming themselves and start seeing real answers (and real sleep).

You don’t need more generic tips.
You need the right approach (functional lab testing) then the *right roadmap* and someone to walk it with you.

If you’re done being dismissed and ready to understand what’s actually going on, I’m here.
