New research exploring osteosarcoma, an aggressive and metastatic cancer affecting both humans and animals – found that resveratrol and homeopathic mistletoe (Viscum album CH200) showed promising antitumour activity in laboratory studies.

Tested on canine, human, and murine osteosarcoma cell lines, both compounds reduced cancer cell viability and migration in a dose-dependent manner, with apoptosis identified as the main mechanism of action. Researchers suggest these findings highlight the potential of resveratrol and homeopathic mistletoe as supportive approaches alongside conventional chemotherapy, while emphasising the need for further research into their clinical applications and interactions with standard cancer treatments.

Homeopathy is great news for animals and farmers! By providing an alternate to antibiotics, homeopathy can keep animals and our food supply cleaner and healthier. Antibiotic-resistance continues to be a concern for farmers and doctors alike, so it is a blessing to have an effective alternative!

A 2018 study conducted on newborn lambs showed that a homeopathic product effectively controlled diarrhea, and the animals showed better use of nutrients. It was concluded that the homeopathic product can be used as an alternative to decrease the use of antibiotics in lamb farming.
