Good morning everybody,

Welcome to Wednesday.

I hope you are all well.

Unfortunately for me, I have done my back in.

Was it from carrying heavy boxes, Lynda, I hear you ask?

No.

Was it from reaching up to grab something from a high shelf and my back suddenly going ping?

Also no.

Was it from doing some dramatic gym move, lifting weights, running, climbing, stretching, or basically anything that would make me sound like a fit and active woman with her life together?

Absolutely not.

Would it be because there is about six inches between the steering wheel and the seat in my car because my legs are not long enough to reach the pedals?

Possibly.

Do I have to squeeze in and squeeze out every day like a woman trying to escape from a letterbox?

Yes.

Do I do this instead of simply pulling the seat back before getting out and moving it forward again when I get in, because apparently that would be far too sensible?

Also yes.

Do I basically have to feed my b***s through the steering wheel every time I get out?

Sadly, yes.

Has doing this repeatedly over the past ten months possibly contributed to the pain now running from the right-hand side of my back and down my leg?

I would say that is a strong yes.

Is this entirely my own fault?

Yes.

Will I now move the seat back before getting out and forward again before driving like a normal responsible adult?

Yes.

Has the damage already been done?

Also yes.

The perils of being a four-foot-ten woman in a very normal-sized car.

I drive around like Mr Bean, nose nearly touching the windscreen, and then act surprised when my spine finally sends in a formal complaint.

So today, I will be shuffling around the Outlet like a wounded little owl, trying not to bend, twist, lift, breathe incorrectly, or make any sudden movements that cause my back to file for divorce.

Other than that, everything is okay.

I’m going to finish the rest of the packing now, and then I’ll be along with some beauty for you.

I really hope you enjoyed the Messages from the Universe last night. Thank you so much to everyone who joined in, commented, and acknowledged the messages they received. It is always lovely to know when something lands with someone, and I really do appreciate the kindness and interaction.

We will definitely do them again soon, because the response was absolutely beautiful.

For now, it is bubble wrap, envelopes, labels and ibuprofen here at Outlet Headquarters.

Yesterday was a much better day than the few that came before it, and honestly, if a sore back is all I have to contend with today, I will take it.

I will absolutely take it.

Time to say goodnight, guys.

I did over 50 Messages from the Universe tonight, so thank you so much to everyone who joined in.

Please don’t worry if you didn’t get one this time. A lot of people like to scroll down through the messages afterwards, stop wherever their finger lands, and take that one as the message meant for them.

Or just read through and see which one speaks to you.

Sometimes the right words have a funny way of finding us, even if they weren’t written directly under our own name.

I will probably start doing these every week or so, just to give more people a chance to receive one. It was lovely to see so many of you joining in, and I think we all need a little bit of guidance, comfort and magic now and again.

I had a very, very busy day today. I honestly have not stopped, but it was a much more positive day than I’ve had over the past few days, so I am very grateful for that.

We take the peaceful days when we get them.

We notice them.
We appreciate them.
We don’t question them too much in case they hear us and run away.

I got most of the parcels out today too, until I ran out of labels and had to do a mercy dash down to the post office for more. The rest will be finished and heading out in the morning.

Tomorrow I will be back with beauty galore to show you, and there may be a few little surprises popping up on the page this week too.

That is all I’m saying on that one.

You never know what might appear at the Outlet.

These are absolutely gorgeous standing Larvikite fairy goddesses.

Melody, Warrior Dragon

Meet Melody.
