At our Fertility event during Science Week 2025, IFPA Specialist Reproductive Health Counsellor Laura McCaffrey spoke about the emotional reality for couples trying to conceive. She reminded us of something powerful:
envy and jealousy aren’t things to push away — they’re emotions asking to be acknowledged.
You’re allowed to feel them.
You’re allowed to pause, breathe, and sit with what’s coming up.
Those feelings don’t need fixing — they need compassion.
