The Sound of Sleep: A Journey into Rest & Renewal
Give yourself the gift of rest, resetting your nervous system and preparing for deeper sleep & offer it, quietly and powerfully, to everyone you love.
Monday, September 14th, 8.30–9.30 pm (GMT) online on Zoom. Contribution: €20.
As the gentle transition from summer into autumn begins there is a natural “return to rhythm” quality: people are coming back from holidays, routines are restarting, evenings are getting darker, and there is often a desire to slow down after summer.
The Sound of Sleep is a restful meditation soundbath designed to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and deep sleep. Through gentle sound, silence, and guided awareness, you’ll be invited to release the day and settle into the quiet unfolding of the season.
If you can’t make the live session, don’t worry – playback and audio streaming will available until October 12th to help you unwind before bed.

Watch this space as I begin to rebuild the six most powerful positive emotions from my classic self-help book that has helped thousands of people all over the world.

When you feel lost, anxious and at sea you need something solid to hold onto and I am finding that the best person to help me is my own work. I shall also be attending grief therapy because I know that there is no way through the pain of grief but to experience it.

If you need help right now with anxiety, stress, grief, poor sleep issues, I am here to help!

The neuroscientist Bruce McEwen of Rockefeller University spent decades studying how the brain responds to transition and discovered that even positive life changes; a child leaving home, a move to a new place, a new relationship, all activate the same neurological stress response as negative ones.

The brain does not distinguish between good change and bad change.

It simply registers something unfamiliar and responds accordingly, flooding the body with cortisol and activating the amygdala, our internal threat detector. This is why we can feel inexplicably anxious, emotional, or exhausted during times of change.

The brain craves predictability above almost everything else.

Be kind to yourself - if you find you are less resilient than you normally are…

Link is in my stories & on the positivehabit.com

Join me and leading psychos*xual therapist Audrey Casey for an honest conversation about love, intimacy, desire, communication and creating relationships that thrive.
In this interactive webinar, we will explore:
Love isn’t the same as desire: how can we deeply love someone and still struggle to want s*x with them?
What if low desire isn’t actually the problem? What if it’s your body trying to tell you something?
What happens when you’ve spent years associating s*xuality with validation, attention, being wanted, or feeling chosen rather than with your own pleasure?
Why do so many women secretly feel relieved when s*x is taken off the table and what might that relief be trying to tell us?
Can trying harder to fix your s*x life actually make things worse? Let’s talk about the pressure trap and why more effort isn’t always the answer.
Why does emotional safety matter so much when it comes to attraction and desire?
How do you reconnect with your s*xual self after children, menopause, illness, grief, burnout, or major life changes when you don’t even feel like the same person anymore?
What if you’re single and feeling disconnected from your s*xuality? How do you rebuild confidence, sensuality, pleasure, and connection with yourself without needing a partner to unlock it?
Instead of chasing desire, what if we focused on creating the conditions where desire has a chance to emerge naturally? What actually helps people feel more connected, alive, playful, and available for intimacy?

Good morning from my Buddha balcony

I hope you are well.

The Buddha Balcony is my calm place… a place to heal and allow the light of the sun to gently heal me and keep me strong.

I just learned about a landmark 20-year Swedish study of nearly 30,000 women found that those with active sun exposure habits lived longer, showing lower rates of cardiovascular disease and non-cancer deaths compared to sun-avoiders, whose life expectancy dropped by up to two years…

When it comes to sun exposure I know it’s a balancing act and I’ve probably had to much over my life and childhood living in Greece. We do need to get the balance…

Sending sunshine to you and light always for the times you need it most.

Love Fiona. 💕💕💕

I recall the first ever webinar was with Pat Divilly | JourneyTheBreath 🫁 back in Sept 2021 and here I am entering season SIX!

I have been blessed to have the best of experts that Ireland has to offer in the area of emotional resilient. We have also attracted some international clients such as Dr Sarah McKay and Karen Guggenheim.

I am so delighted that this series is helping so many people. It is FREE to everybody and it has made a big difference in the lives of many. The reason I set up a webcast series as opposed to a podcast is because I want to hear from YOU!

The webinars are interactive and you have the opportunity to ask the expert questions in real time.

I will announce our first guest that is appearing on Monday, September 7 tomorrow and I can’t wait to see you there.

Donations make this series possible on our always greatly appreciated.

We did this gorge walk a little while back & I had to share it with you - such a special place.

I am a big believer in talk therapy - the mix of positive psychology, talk therapy & hypnotherapy the king of them all BUT in my opinion nature is our greatest healer working alongside us always, holding us, helping us and teaching us.

Sending you love today & everyday - maybe one day you will join me in Crete for a restful therapeutic holiday surrounded in nature.

Introducing Tabatha - a bundle of fun and love that I am so HAPPY to have in my life right now…

Taba means ´to be free’ in Greek and she is a little free spirit for sure.

She will stay tiny circa 3 kilos so we can bring her back and forth on the plane in the cabin with us. Rosie can never be replaced but life without a dog 🐶 is for me just not an option. The love and joy they bring is unmatched.

It’s also proven that dog owners live longer all those happy hormones are so life enhancing.

Can you guess her breed?
