Recently in our Elm Hall home, residents enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Bealtaine Festival in Adamstown 🧡

From chair Zumba and arts & crafts to creating colourful wreaths to take home, the day was filled with fun, creativity, and great energy. A wonderful performance from a local choir brought a warm and joyful atmosphere, with plenty of familiar songs enjoyed by all.

Recently, residents from our Montenotte home enjoyed a wonderful evening out as part of the Bealtaine celebrations at one of Cork City’s most recognised landmarks, The Shandon Bells 🧡

The concert, held in support of St. Anne’s Church renovations, featured fantastic performances from the Cork Male Voice Choir and The Butter Exchange Band. Residents thoroughly enjoyed the evening, with many reminiscing and singing along to the familiar songs they remembered so well.

Earlier this month, staff from our Clonakilty home took part in the Darkness Into Light walk in support of Pieta House, coming together bright and early at 4:15am for this meaningful event. 🧡

Following the walk, everyone gathered together in the dining room for breakfast and a chance to reflect on the morning.

Residents from CareChoice Malahide Road recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to the National Concert Hall for Tea Dance Tunes 🎶

There was plenty of singing along to favourite songs, great conversation over a cup of tea, and lots of smiles throughout the afternoon. Outings like these are always a lovely opportunity for residents to socialise, reminisce and enjoy special moments together.

Last week, residents and families at CareChoice Swords came together to celebrate creativity, connection and self-expression during a very special Bealtaine Art Exhibition. 🧡

The exhibition showcased beautiful artwork created by residents from both Residential Care and the ABI Unit, including pieces developed during art therapy sessions facilitated by Aoife Ryan. The afternoon was filled with warmth, pride and joy as residents shared their creations with loved ones and enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere of music, conversation and togetherness.

We were delighted to welcome harpist Justyna Kosmulska, whose beautiful recital added a truly special touch to the day, alongside singing, laughter and shared memories throughout the exhibition.

A huge thank you to our Activities Team, ABI Activities Team, maintenance, our kitchen team and everyone involved in helping make this such a meaningful and memorable celebration for residents and families alike.

Residents at Beaumont Residential Care have been busy over the past month working on their beautiful Bealtaine Art Project, The Circle of Life. 🎨

The project focused on texture, colour and creativity, with the circle symbolising connection, friendship and togetherness within the art group and across the home. The finished pieces will soon be brought together, framed and proudly displayed within Beaumont for everyone to enjoy 🧡
