🎒✨ BACK TO SCHOOL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! ✨🎒
And you know what that means… it’s time to get HEAD LICE AWARE! 👀🐜
Here are 7 simple things we recommend to help reduce the spread of head lice and start the school year feeling prepared:
1. KEEP HAIR TIED UP 💁♀️
French braids, plaits or a ponytail are great options — especially for longer hair.
2. SMOOTH DOWN THOSE STRAY HAIRS
The less loose hair flying around, the better! 😉
3. NO SHARING HAIRBRUSHES 🪮
Everyone in the family should have their own brush or comb.
4. REDUCE HEAD-TO-HEAD CONTACT
It sounds obvious, but head lice spread primarily through close head-to-head contact — so keep those heads apart where possible!
5. TALK, TALK, TALK! 📣
If head lice are found in your class, LET EACH OTHER KNOW AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
Use the class WhatsApp group to communicate — there’s nothing worse than finding out it’s been going around for weeks! 😩
6. REMEMBER: THERE IS NO SHAME IN HEAD LICE ❤️
Head lice can affect anyone. They don’t care how clean your hair or home is. The important thing is knowing what to look for and dealing with it quickly.
7. GET THE HEAD LICE EXPERTS INTO YOUR SCHOOL! 🎓🐜
We can come in for an educational chat, bust the myths, answer questions and get everyone checked — helping your school community feel informed and confident.
✨ Prevention starts with awareness.
