🚨 Important Update: Clinic Closure Tomorrow 🚨

Due to the Red Weather Warning issued, Newry Private Clinic will be closed tomorrow. The safety of our patients and staff is our main concern, and we cannot take any unnecessary risks.

We’ve spent today contacting patients to inform them of the closure and reschedule appointments where possible. We have left messages and sent texts and emails to everyone—please check. If we haven’t managed to reschedule your appointment yet, please know that you haven't been forgotten, and we are working hard in the background to get you sorted.

Are people in the Republic of Ireland aware of the Cross-Border directive?

This week we’ve been posting on our social media accounts about the Cross-Border Directive, an initiative that allows patients who are from the Republic of Ireland and on a waiting list to travel to Northern Ireland, pay for their treatment, and then get reimbursed for their treatment.

We’re trying to increase awareness of this fantastic initiative, so that more patients can have their procedures sooner.

We’re keen to hear your thoughts, do you think this initiative is well-known already? Or should we be doing more to raise awareness?

⚽️ FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine ⚽️

Started this back in March during lock down after being made aware of it by . Since then have been slowly chipping away during my lunch breaks & evenings. 📖

The diploma covers all aspects of football medicine including the upper limb and spine but has a huge focus on sports medicine of the foot, ankle and lower limb which works very well with my daily clinical practice.

I found this course extremely enjoyable and have undoubtedly gained knowledge and skills on all aspects of sports medicine that I will likely use on a daily basis it has definitely whet my appetite for further learning.

Did someone say Post Grad? 👨‍🎓
