The Nourished Reset Retreat is returning to Casa Fuzetta.

8th–13th April 2027
Olhão, Algarve

After such a special experience this year, I’m so happy to share that we’ll be going back to Casa Fuzetta for another beautiful few days of food, movement, rest, connection and midlife nourishment.

This is a very special midlife retreat for women who want space to step away from the noise, feel properly looked after, eat beautiful food, move gently, laugh a lot, and reconnect with themselves in one of the most stunning houses in the Algarve!

Think rooftop yoga, long-table meals, nourishing food using recipes from my book Nourish for Menopause, sea air, active mornings, meaningful conversations, optional experiences, and plenty of time to rest, explore and enjoy.

The response from this year’s guests has honestly been incredible, and several women have already confirmed they’d love to return.

There are 11 rooms in total and 7 are already confirmed, which means there are currently just 4 rooms remaining.

The Nourished Reset Retreat includes:

5 nights at Casa Fuzetta
Beautiful meals throughout the retreat - Brunch and Dinner daily
Gentle movement and rooftop yoga
Menopause-focused nutrition sessions
Time to rest, swim, explore and connect
Optional experiences and local adventures
A warm, supportive group of like-minded women

This year’s guests described it as:

“Life-affirming.”
“Excellent, magical.”
“Simply the best 5 days I’ve ever had.”

And honestly, that says it better than I ever could.

If you’d love to join us in April 2027, now is the time to get in touch.

Comment RETREAT below or send me a message and I’ll send you the remaining room options, pricing and payment details. The page is now LIVE on my website ( Link in Bio)

Some moments from this year’s Nourished Reset Retreat at Casa Fuzetta that still make me smile.

The food 😍
The rooftop yoga.
The island day.
The bike ride through the salt flats.
The conversations around the table.
The belly laughs.
The easy, generous, feel-good energy of the group.

It was one of those experiences where we genuinely started to lose track of time.

What day is it?
What time is it?
Does it even matter?

There was such a positive spirit running through the whole retreat - women looking out for each other, laughing constantly, sharing openly, trying new things, resting properly, eating beautiful food, and feeling the impact of it all as the days unfolded.

When I asked this year’s guests to describe their overall experience, the words that came back were honestly so moving:

“Life-affirming.”
“A nourishing reset.”
“Excellent, magical.”
“Simply the best 5 days I’ve ever had.”
“Like stepping out of time for a while.”

And I think that captures it perfectly.

It was just what we needed.

A few days to step away from the noise, feel looked after, reconnect with ourselves, and be reminded how good it feels to be surrounded by warmth, laughter, beauty, nourishment and good women.

So I’m very happy to share that…

We’re returning to Casa Fuzetta!!

I’m just back from and I’m honestly still a bit emotional thinking about it all.

What an incredible few days.

The food, the conversations, the swims, the laughter, the little moments around the table, the women supporting each other… it was everything I hoped it would be and more.

And then my MENOSHIP ladies gave me the most beautiful gift.

This gorgeous gold Casa Fuzetta necklace, representing family, love and connection - which really says it all.

They also gave me the beautiful LA-EVA hand wash and lotion used in the house, so I could take that gorgeous Casa Fuzetta scent home with me.

You know when a smell brings you right back to a place? That. ❤️

And the card… full of the most heartfelt messages.

I’ll treasure it forever.

Feeling very lucky, very grateful, and very proud of what we created together ❤️🦋

Still processing our retreat at the incredible and magical Casa Fuzetta in Olhão!

5 days.
16 women.
So much food, laughter, honesty, rest and connection.

This was never just a retreat.

It was a chance to experience what it feels like to be properly nourished.

Food was a huge part of the retreat - not just because it was beautiful and delicious, but because it helped bring the nutrition education to life using my book Nourish for Menopause as the guide

Each day had a different nutritional theme, and our chef Ricardo and his team, Sarah & Nadine recreated recipes from my book Nourish for Menopause so the women could experience this way of eating in their own bodies.

This is the part I love.

Because when women taste balanced, nourishing food and then notice:

their cravings reduce,
their digestion feels calmer,
their energy is steadier,
their mood is better,
and they feel genuinely satisfied…

that is when the penny drops.

It stops being about “being good” or “trying harder” and starts becoming about support.

This is why food matters so much in midlife.

Not restriction.
Not bland “healthy eating”.
Not another plan that leaves you hungry.

But delicious, practical, hormone-supportive food that helps you feel better in your body.

We used our taste buds as the guide - and it made the whole experience both enjoyable and insightful.

A huge thank you to Ricardo Sarah .up.a.storm & Nadine for recreating my recipes with so much care, flavour and love.

Marrakech is loud, chaotic, and alive! …
an assault on the senses in every possible way.

And yet underneath it all, there’s something very calm.
A kindness, a respect between people that’s hard to describe until you experience it.

Even the traffic somehow works! it looks like complete chaos, every man for himself,
and yet there’s no road rage, no aggression… just a kind of unspoken respect between everyone!

And I think a lot of that comes back to how people live here.

There’s a rhythm to life with a strong sense of family and community. Elders are respected and continue to play an integral part in family life..
Moroccans have weekly rituals like Friday couscous shared with family,
schools closing so children go home to eat,
a 2 hour pause in the day where everything slows down and people come together to eat and connect..

Food isn’t separate from life here - it sits right at the centre of it!

I was lucky to spend the morning in the kitchen at learning from Hayek a local Dada (chef/cook)and it ended up being so much more than just a cooking class.

We made a chicken tagine, a roasted aubergine dip (Zalouk) and a sweet pepper salad…
but really, it was about understanding how flavour is built - the sequence, the layering, the patience- simple ingredients, but so much depth.

Learning from Dada Hayek felt like a small window into that way of living
and I loved every minute of it.

Marrakesh is an adventure! the food is incredible, the people are lovely and they are incredibly enterprising!

There are some fabulous restaurants, boutiques and of course the souks- an education in haggling! Moroccans have selling in their DNA and to them the haggling is the process. It’s like watching tennis!

Weather wise it was a balmy 22C most days (March) with dramatic thunder and lightning accompanied by biblical rain at night⚡️

I am happy to share details of where we stayed, where we are, guides etc ..

I’m in Marrakesh for a few days! finally experiencing a place that’s been on my wishlist for a very long time…and already I’m thinking… he was right!
. this time last year, I was chatting with my Dad while he told me stories about his time here -
the markets, the smells, the bartering, the food and the people they met along the way.

I told him I’d always wanted to come.
Especially to wander the souks and take a cooking class.

He said to me “You just need to do that. You would love it.”

A few weeks ago, an offer popped up for a hotel I’d been eyeing…and his voice was in my head.

So I booked it!

Marrakech is like an assault on the senses!
the sights, the sounds, the smells. It’s incredible!! and in the middle of all that, you notice the everyday rhythms & rituals of the locals - like the local community bread ovens in the Medina where families and small businesses bring their dough to be baked fresh each day. Theres such a strong sense of community here and the bartering is in a class of its own!

…And now that I’m here walking these streets, taking it all in, Im just really glad I made it..
To experience it for myself, and to visit some of the places my dad talked about. ❤️ it feels good to be a bit adventurous in my 50s - especially when anxiety can so easily hold you back at this life stage..

I am happy to share the details just DM me if interested- I will also post some info to my highlights

If you’ve been told
“It’s just your hormones”
and left to figure it out alone…

Read this.

Hormones don’t suddenly become chaotic in midlife.

They become more sensitive to what’s happening underneath.

Your digestion.
Your stress response.
Your sleep.
Your blood sugar stability.

Bloating.
Cravings.
Low mood.
Unrefreshing sleep.

Symptoms are Feedback.

And when you understand the feedback, you stop guessing!
