Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières UCD (FoMSF UCD)

Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières UCD (FoMSF UCD) Students of UCD raising awareness for and supporting the work of MSF. Friends of MSF UCD (FoMSF UCD) is the official MSF society for all UCD students.

It is the first point of contact with MSF for the 22,000 students of UCD. It creates awareness about the charity at UCD and is the official MSF representative body at the university. FoMSF UCD promotes the work of the charity on campus through the various information evenings, meetings and film screenings it runs throughout the academic year while also fundraising vital funds for MSF's work. MSF p

rovides medical care to people who are victims of conflict, natural disasters or oppression. They perform life-saving surgery and basic primary health care. They run emergency feeding programs during nutritional crises. They tackle neglected diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and kala azar; and they organise mass vaccination programs to prevent epidemics spreading. They are also involved in health projects that train local medical staff and put in place safe drinking water and sanitation facilities. UCD FoMSF AUTUMN SEMESTER RECAP! 🌍🥼

Hello everyone!

Long time no see, happy new year to you all, hope you all enjoyed the well-deserved break.

As we enter the spring semester, we want to extend a HUGE thank you to all those who came to and supported our FoMSF fundraising events throughout the year. You are all such great ambassadors for the society, and without you we could not keep the FoMSF community alive in UCD, thanks a million.
