Getting ill more often than everyone around you rarely comes down to bad luck.

Secretory IgA is your gut’s first line of immune defence, and when it’s low, your body struggles to keep infections out in the first place. The frustrating part is that low secretory IgA is never caused by just one thing. Low beneficial bacteria, H. pylori, candida overgrowth, even a reactivated Epstein Barr virus can all be driving it, and each one needs a completely different approach.

That’s exactly why testing matters more than guessing.

Most people picture low testosterone as one obvious thing. In reality, it shows up in ways that rarely get connected back to hormones at all.

Mood that’s harder to manage. Muscle that won’t build no matter how hard you train. Fat that keeps creeping on around the midsection. Sleep that leaves you tired regardless of how many hours you get. Bone density quietly declining in the background. Joint pain nobody can explain. Motivation that’s just not what it used to be.

None of these get diagnosed as low testosterone on their own. Together, they usually tell a very clear story.

Not every family is looking for more medication. Some are looking for an actual reason why.

That’s exactly where Anna’s story started. Once we looked at her gut health specifically, the change wasn’t small, less inflammation, calmer behaviour, and a genuinely brighter, happier child both at home and at school.

This is what happens when the root cause actually gets addressed instead of managed around.

Alongside our functional testing, we run an advanced blood clinic, looking far deeper than what most GPs are able to check.

Fatigue that never lifts. Brain fog. Low mood. Poor recovery. Weight that won’t shift no matter what changes. Hair thinning. Cold hands and feet. So many symptoms get written off as normal simply because standard bloods only cover a narrow range, never the underlying cause.

Our advanced panels look at what’s actually driving these symptoms, not just ruling out disease.

Your bloods are normal.” Words that leave so many people stuck with zero real answers.

A standard blood test only shows you what’s circulating at that exact moment. It says nothing about whether your body is actually using it properly. That’s the gap that explains why someone can have completely normal results and still feel exhausted, foggy, or off, with no explanation from anyone.

The OMX looks at this differently. It measures the metabolites your body produces as it processes nutrients, hormones and energy, revealing deficiencies and dysfunction that bloods alone will never catch. It also shows exactly where genetics, lifestyle and diet are combining to work against you.

Energy, mood, focus, digestion, hormone balance, all connected to the pathways this test actually measures.

So many symptoms get written off as “normal” that are actually signs of oestrogen dominance. Bloating, heavy periods, mood swings, stubborn weight gain.

One of the most common drivers is your liver struggling to clear used oestrogen properly. Instead of being removed, it recirculates, and progesterone drops alongside it, throwing everything off balance.

This rarely shows up on standard bloods. A DUTCH Test gives the full picture, hormones mapped across the entire day rather than one single reading.

1. Gluten-free is always healthier
2. Fasted cardio every morning
3. Diet and low fat products loaded with artificial sweeteners
4. “Protein” labelled foods
5. Skipping meals
6. Multivitamins as a substitute for real food
7. Guessing what supplements to take
8. Plant-based milks as a replacement for dairy
9. “Normal” blood tests mean you’re fine
10. Taking antibiotics unnecessarily

None of these are villains on their own, but treated as automatic health wins without any real thought behind them, they can quietly work against you.
