🎉 Annual Day Services Fun Day at the Anne Le Roy Centre! 🎉

There was a fantastic atmosphere in the Anne Le Roy Centre on 30th August as we welcomed service users and staff from across our Community Day Services for our annual Fun Day, including Marquis Drive, The Hub, Gateway, Springboard and ALRC.

The day got off to a great start with a lively “Wake Up and Shake Up” session led by our Zumba instructor, April. We were then entertained by the wonderful Wobbly Circus, enjoyed a delicious BBQ provided by Fresh Food Courtyard, and had lots of fun with the large outdoor games supplied by By Ballinger.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our Talent Show, which showcased the amazing talents of our service users across singing, dancing, drama and plenty of laughter and entertainment. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, confidence and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

We would also like to wish all of our Service Users and their families a wonderful break as we begin our annual two-week shutdown. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great year. 💙

⚽️ A Very Special Visitor to ALRC! ⚽️

There was huge excitement in the Anne Le Roy Centre on Thursday, 2nd July, when Irish international and Everton footballer Jake O’Brien paid us a visit.

Jake generously gave his time to meet everyone, signing photos, jerseys and autographs, posing for countless photos, and taking part in a Q&A session with our service users. His kindness, patience and genuine interest in meeting everyone made the day truly memorable.

We are incredibly grateful to Jake for taking the time to visit us and for making such a positive impact on all who met him. A fantastic footballer and an absolute gentleman.

💙 Thank you, Jake, from everyone at Carriglea!
