FRIDAY 21st AUGUST 2026

We’re all bloody brilliant at chasing the next thing.

The next plan.
The next goal.
The next version of life we’ve decided will somehow make everything click into place.

Meanwhile, today is stood there going,
“Hello? I’m right here.”

So look around.

The laugh that catches you off guard.
Someone reaching for your hand.
A quiet house.
A message from someone you love.
You're pet doing something ridiculous.
A proper good cup of tea.
A moment where, for once, nothing actually needs fixing.

This moment is not a waiting room. It is not the bit before your real life begins.

I know there’s still s**t to deal with. Bills. Stress. Worries. Things hanging over your head that you wish would just bloody sort themselves out.

But life doesn’t wait until everything is tidy before it gives you something beautiful.

There can still be laughter in the middle of the mess. Love in the middle of the worry. A good day tucked inside a hard week. A tiny moment that makes you think, “Actually… this bit is pretty bloody lovely.”
Don’t miss those bits just because everything isn’t perfect yet.
They count too.

And some of the moments you’re rushing through now will one day be the ones you’d give anything to have back.

So be here for the bloody good bits. 🌿💕🌿
