The body will always take the path of least resistance.

One of the biggest advantages of online rehab is that you can do your sessions from the comfort of your own home, office, or gym.

An added bonus?

We can record sessions and look back in time to spot the things you couldn’t see in the moment 👀

Following an old ACL injury and a recent hamstring strain, Conor’s body found a way to keep moving while protecting the injured area.

The result?

He was almost landing in an RDL position with every stride. Excessive forward trunk lean shifted load into the glute and upper hamstring while avoiding the lower quad and distal hamstring — the very areas with a history of injury.

Helpful early on.

Unhelpful later on.

As we return to running, the goal changes from protecting tissues to rebuilding confidence and capacity in them.

These are some of the steps we took before returning to running — reducing the avoidance strategy, restoring load through the lower quad and hamstring, and rebuilding trust in the injured tissues.

While strength is important, how we move is equally as important.

What does good coaching look like?

A lot of people think coaching is having all the answers.

It’s not!

‘That was totally different’ instead of jumping in telling the client what had changed since the start of the session. I simply asked:

‘What feels different?’

By slowing down, asking better questions, athletes become more aware of their own movement, build confidence in what they’re feeling and develop a better understanding of their body.

Good coaching isn’t about giving people the answer.

It’s about creating an environment for them to discover it for themeselves.

This is where learning happens 🧠
