Yesterday morning, I had such an inspiring time at the LEO Clare Women in Business event at The Old Ground Hotel, Ennis.

When my uncle, Thai botanical artist Phansakdi Chakkaphak l เธžเธฑเธ™เธ˜เธธเนŒเธจเธฑเธเธ”เธดเนŒ เธˆเธฑเธเธเธฐเธžเธฒเธ, visited me in May, he brought me a gift that I will always treasure.
His beautiful Water Lily painting was recreated as this large silk scarf, a limited edition that is not for sale and I feel truly honoured to have received one.
The original Water Lily painting is part of the Shirley Sherwood Collection in London.
For me, this silk scarf is much more than a beautiful piece of art. It carries my Thai roots, my family, and a little piece of home into my little studio here in Ennis. ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

I had the privilege of caring for her through four pregnancy massage sessions during her journey. After a few difficult nights, she finally enjoyed a peaceful sleep following her last massage, and shortly afterwards, her beautiful baby boy arrived safely. ๐Ÿ‘ถ

Iโ€™m learning that me time doesnโ€™t always mean going somewhere.
Sometimes itโ€™s simply staying at home, putting my phone aside, picking up a paintbrush and giving myself time to slow down.
Little by little, colour by colourโ€ฆ until my favourite little face appeared. ๐Ÿถ๐ŸคŽ
Painting helps me focus, switch off and just enjoy the moment โ€” no work, no rushing, no need to achieve anything.
