I will never forget the moment she realised how little of her life was actually hers.
On the surface, everything looked full. Successful career. Busy days. A life that, from the outside, seemed rich and complete.
But underneath there was a quiet emptiness she could no longer ignore.
She came to me because she was overwhelmed all the time. As an empath, she felt everything. Everyone. Every room, every conversation, every unspoken tension.
It was exhausting.
She wanted to find balance.
To feel steady in herself.
To be free from the constant anxiety and stress that lived in her body.
And I could feel straight away there was something deeper asking to be seen.
She knew it too.
There had been a time in her life where she felt deeply connected.
To her guides.
To her angels.
She trusted what she felt.
She listened.
She followed.
But somewhere along the way, that connection had faded.
Recently, she felt completely disconnected.
Distant from that inner knowing.
Unsure of what to trust anymore.
And that disconnection was part of what was creating so much overwhelm.
Not at the very beginning of our work, but as we began to open things up, she connected back in.
During a soul reading, she received a message that stopped her in her tracks.
“It is time to seize your freedom and to travel where you can connect within and know our ways.”
The message came through Archangel Gabriel.
She was completely flabbergasted.
It felt so far from the life she was living
and yet something in her recognised it instantly.
These feelings were not new.
They had been with her her whole life.
Growing up, she had learned to be the good one.
The capable one.
The one who did not need much.
So she built a life where she functioned beautifully
but never truly felt nourished.
In one of our early sessions, she shared something she had never said out loud before.
She had always dreamed of travelling to the seven sacred sites of the world.
Places she felt deeply called to. High frequency portals she could almost feel in her body just thinking about them.
She spoke about them like they were alive.
Like something inside her already knew them.
And yet she had never gone further than her own neighbourhood.
Not once.
As she said it, something landed.
It was not really about travel.
It was about how disconnected she had become from her own needs.
Her desires had been placed somewhere far away.
Somewhere impractical.
Somewhere for later.
Over time, they stopped feeling real.
They became something she admired from a distance instead of something she lived.
So we began there.
Not with big changes
but with a simple question
What do you need right now
At first she did not know.
Her attention had always been outward.
Focused on others.
On holding everything together.
On managing what everyone else needed.
Turning inward felt unfamiliar.
But slowly, something began to shift.
She started noticing the small moments.
Where she said yes when she meant no.
Where her body tightened and she ignored it.
Where she abandoned herself without even realising.
And then she began to choose differently.
Small at first.
Rest when she needed it.
Space when she felt overwhelmed.
Honesty instead of automatic agreement.
Her system began to soften.
More ease.
More energy.
More presence.
It was as if, for the first time, she was actually listening to herself.
And then one day she told me
She had booked the trip.
Her first sacred site was Mount Shasta.
She said something in her had already shifted before she even arrived.
Like the decision itself had opened something.
And standing there, she knew.
Before she died, she would visit all seven.
Not from pressure
not from proving anything
but because she finally trusted herself enough to follow what she felt.
This is what happens when you begin to meet your own needs.
Life does not have to be forced.
It begins to open.
We often think our needs are too much.
Too inconvenient.
Too disruptive.
But unmet needs do not disappear.
They wait quietly.
Until one day
you finally listen.
And everything begins to change.
This is the work.
Learning how to hear yourself again.
Learning how to honour what is true for you.
Understanding that your needs are not the problem
They are the doorway.
If this type of soul mentoring, where you reconnect with your needs, your values, and your pathway back to yourself, speaks to you, I invite you to reach out.
I have two spaces available for ongoing mentoring in May.
