A career in care is built on the small moments that make a big difference.

A familiar face. A reassuring conversation. Helping someone feel more confident and independent in their own home. For our carers, these everyday moments can mean so much to the people and families they support.

If you are looking for a role where your kindness can have a real impact, there could be a place for you with Bluebird Care.

Behind every meaningful piece of music is a story, and the Bluebird Care anthem is no different. 💙

In this video, Samantha shares the personal connection behind how the anthem came to life and the story that inspired it.

It is a reminder that care is about so much more than the support we provide. It is about the relationships we build, the moments we share and the people who make Bluebird Care what it is.

A very special evening for Bluebird Care Ireland. 💙🎶

We were delighted to come together to celebrate the launch of our new anthem, As Bluebirds Fly, and to recognise the story, people and collaboration that brought it to life.

The song was created and produced by Paul Byrne of Tua Nua, inspired by a poem by Patrick Clifford, in association with the team at Bluebird Care Dublin South West.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating care, connection and community, and a proud moment for everyone involved in bringing this special piece of the Bluebird Care story to life.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the launch such a memorable occasion. Paul Byrne Music

September marks the beginning of World Alzheimer’s Month, a time to raise awareness, challenge stigma and recognise the importance of compassionate, person-centred dementia care.

At Bluebird Care, we’re committed to supporting people living with dementia to remain safe, comfortable and independent at home, while also being there for the families and loved ones supporting them.

As we begin the month, hear from our COO, Mark McInerney, as he reflects on his experience of the Dementia Roadshow and the importance of continuing to learn, listen and improve how we support people affected by dementia.

The Dementia Roadshow will be visiting a number of locations across Ireland this September, helping to bring greater awareness, practical support and meaningful conversations about dementia into local communities.

💙 Together, we can help create greater understanding and better support for everyone impacted by dementia.

Brought to life with the support of Paul Caskey, Samantha Carroll and the team at Bluebird Care Dublin South West, this is a very special moment for all of us.

“Bluebird, you teach our hearts to sing again…
Bluebird, you turn our grey skies blue.” 💙🎶

What began as a poem written by a Bluebird Care client became something much more — a song inspired by his own experience of care and the difference Bluebird Care made in his life.

Ahead of the official launch of the Bluebird Care Anthem on 27 August, we’re sharing a first glimpse of the story behind the song, told through his family and the Bluebird Care carer who was there from the very beginning.

A deeply personal story. A very special song. And one we can’t wait to share with you.

A special thank you to Paul Caskey, Samantha Carroll and the entire Bluebird Care Dublin South West team for helping bring this story and anthem to life. 💙

Join us on social media on 27 August at 7.00pm for the official release of the Bluebird Care Anthem. 💙🎶

We’re proud to see the Bluebird Care Ireland story featured in Business Plus. 💙

From our beginnings in Ireland in 2007 to a national network of 22 locally led offices, our purpose has remained the same: delivering high-quality, nurse-led care that enables people to live safely, independently and confidently in the place they know best, at home.

As demand for home care continues to grow, so does our ambition to support more families, create meaningful careers in communities across Ireland and continue raising the standard of care nationwide.

“As we continue to invest in our people, clinical capability and local network, I firmly believe the best chapter of Bluebird Care is still ahead of us.”
— Mark McInerney, Chief Operating Officer, Bluebird Care Ireland
