I’ve recently been talking to my piers and colleagues about my strongest abilities in tattooing, so I’m going to lean into those now and see how far I can push them.
One of my strongest styles is Neo Traditional and another that is my go to style for drawing is new school, so I have used many methods and tricks that I have learned over my 19 years in tattooing to create this piece of art.
I feel like I stood on my younger self’s shoulders as a platform for the art I create now. He was a crazy dude with half cocked ideas and experimented constantly. And I am now using what he learned along that winding road of madness to further my art. And I dip into that madness from time to time to really dig deep in the creative process.
True Art comes from within us, it can arise from the pain and struggle or the beauty of our lives.
Art comes from Art. ✌️❤️
