The universe is constantly sending us signs and synchronicities. Maybe it’s a robin, a butterfly or feathers. A line from a song you can’t stop humming. It could be a particular flower or even random thoughts that appear from ‘nowhere’.

I love experiencing synchronicity. I take notice. For me, it’s numbers in particular that grab my attention. A particular set of repeating numbers holds great meaning for me and each time I see them, which is normally multiple times a day, I get great comfort and inspiration. I know I’m being guided and watched over and that without a doubt, there is definitely far more to this rather mad existence we are all presently experiencing 😇

Yesterday evening I drove to Galway and almost every car I found myself driving behind was a ‘261’ registration. Not a normal experience for me. In fact I have not seen that many 2026 cars at all. At one particular set of traffic lights I was sitting in a few lanes of traffic waiting for the lights to change and the 3 cars in front of me in each lane was a 261 reg!! 🚗🚗🚗. I knew I had to take notice!! This is the result and very appropriate for me 😊😇.

And I didn’t see one 261 registration all the way home. This is often the case, when you have ‘noticed’, the synchronicity stops. The annoying ‘ear worm’ line of a song disappears once you’ve got the message 😀.

I AM………. These are powerful words. Every thought and every word you speak about yourself holds mighty energy and your body listens to it all…make sure you say and believe only good things ❤️.

I have started a daily practice. Each morning when I wake up and each night before I go to sleep I sit, hold my hand on my heart and breathe into my heart space. Each breathe out is longer than the breathe in, and with each breathe out my nervous system relaxes more into a parasympathetic state (the opposite of fight, flight or freeze). As I breathe I focus on something that makes me feel gratitude, love and positive emotions. I hold this feeling in my heart space for 5 full breathes and then say 3 positive ‘I AM’ statements. This morning I said ‘I AM HAPPY, I AM STRONG, I AM LOVE. As I go through my day I can tune into that powerful positive feeling at any time. It’s instantly uplifting!

Make a commitment to yourself today and try this for at least 10 days straight at first and see how you feel. You may feel they are just words at first but you will feel a very positive shift! Physically, your body will be more resilient to stress, your cortisol will reduce and you will start to have more energy and sleep better. Mentally, you will be more in tune with your intuition, more focused on making good things happen in your life, have more self belief and positive self talk and be more tuned out to negative people and events.

Regardless of what is happening around you and how you feel about yourself or the world right now, you hold your heart in your own hands. You have the power to make a difference 🤗❤️

🎓Graduated! I am now officially a qualified Systematic Kinesiologist!🥳🥳.

Reflecting today after an emotional final learning weekend of the Diploma (aptly titled ‘Emotional Wellbeing’), after 18 months of continuous study. Staying at the beautiful Lough Lannagh Village in Castlebar, a beautiful weekend was had celebrating along with all my fabulous fellow Graduates and Teachers.🥳🥳

Thank you to everyone who trusted me along the way and became Case Studies and Research Project participants. I’m very grateful for your trust 🙏

I’ve enjoyed and embraced every second of my Systematic Kinesiology journey and this is just the start. There is much more to learn. It’s been life changing. I feel so grateful and lucky to be able to offer this amazing therapy to my clients. I can’t wait to see where it takes me!!

How powerful is food?

A bit of a personal post here. My main focus with my clients is always health, not weight loss. When health improves weight starts to normalise as a welcome side effect, regardless of whether you need to gain or lose it. Also, when you give the body the right nutrition, everything starts to heal.

I am a woman in menopause. Like everyone else, my life is busy and I have some unavoidable stresses. As a Nutritional Therapist, I love my job as I talk clients through how they can make helpful changes to their diet and lifestyle to help them heal.

I thought I was doing good and eating right for my hormones and health, but the weight was steadily creeping up. I was stiff and aching all the time and my sleep was very poor. I also felt hungry most of the time. Cue unhealthy snacking! Then it got to the point where I had to brace myself to stand up, or get out of the car, or bend down to pick something up off the floor. I am 54 not 94, I knew I had to make some serious changes. A bit of shame started to creep in. After all, this is my day job!!

I really didn’t have to think too much about it, I just had to do it. I knew what I wanted to stop eating, but I also knew that to curb the cravings and be successful (even though I was suffering), I had to make sure I ate enough good quality proteins and fats. There has been no calorie counting to this. I don’t even own a scales. I made the changes 5 weeks ago now. Within a week my pain had all but disappeared. Now it’s all gone and my flexibility has returned. As a happy side effect all my bloating has gone and I’ve lost about 6 inches from around my waist. I have zero cravings, I am sleeping much better and (tmi), a fungal toenail has completely disappeared.

What did I do? I cut out all processed foods and focused on easily digestible proteins (oily fish and eggs mostly). At the moment I am focusing on carbohydrates only from veg such as cauliflower and broccoli, spring greens and mushrooms. Snacks are nuts, coconut flakes and homemade keto energy balls.

Resharing a memory from this day last year…

I have come to believe over time, that the things that happen to us in our lives, both fulfilling and challenging, are either a thumbs up or a nudge from our soul, that steers us on the path to recognising our true potential. Be it a gentle nudge or a full on face plant, everything that happens is ultimately a whisper or a shout that we need to make a change in some way.
Give yourself time, allow yourself peace and love yourself as you would your child self. Walk in nature, watch a comedy and allow laughter and tears. Dance like no one is watching you, go out and howl at the full moon. Paint a picture expressing how you feel, or write it down - get it out of your head. Sit in silence, ask and listen for guidance. It will come because we are never alone. What if wounds aren’t there to stop us from thriving? Consider that they are ultimately there to help us find the strength to live our best lives and heal ourselves and those around us ❤️

Quick question! Are you wearing a smart watch right now? Or, if you are reading this post, you are most likely holding your phone in your hands or have it close to you.

I had a client today for Kinesiology who came in wearing a smart watch. I asked them if they minded doing a little experiment with me by allowing me to test a muscle with them wearing it and then testing the same muscle again without it. They agreed, and were shocked when their muscle tested a lot weaker wearing the watch than it did without it.

Having all this technology at our fingertips may make our lives easier but carrying the phones and the watches around all day so close to our bodies isn’t good for us. As I clearly demonstrated to my client today, the watch was affecting them and the muscle that was weakened was not even on the arm that was wearing the watch! Your ‘smart’ watch isn’t so smart for your body at all!
Food for thought for sure.

My advice? Take the watch off, put the phone down, leave them both behind and go outside and plug yourself into nature for a while without them and see how different you feel!

Do you find yourself constantly suffering with colds, pain, low energy or low mood? Would you like to feel more confident and think more positively? It’s all about vibration and frequency. I have tools that can help you with that!

So, you know when you or someone you know buys a new car, and then as if by magic, you notice a lot more of those cars on the road than before? That’s vibration. It’s unconscious, but it’s still very powerful, because your mind has been recently focused, with emotion on that new car.

Now think of all that is happening in your life and the strong emotions you are feeling about everything. What you feel, is a frequency and you will attract more things into your life that resonate with that frequency. A lifetime of feeling these feelings influences everything. Our achievements, our choices, our beliefs, our physical and mental health, our relationships with others and how we view ourselves. How positive is your feeling of self worth? Can you look at yourself in a mirror and say ‘I love you’?

I think the human experience is like surfing, but instead of water, we are surfing a sea of frequency and vibrations. Sometimes the wave is too big and its hard to stay on the board so we fall off and go under for a bit but then then we get back on the board again and go find a bigger wave lol🏄🌊😂.

I had some really nice sessions with clients today. It’s amazing how the body talks when you ask the right questions!!
