What leads to hormone imbalances in the first place? 🤓 Here are the top reasons I see in practice:
😢 Stress and trauma, these are huge drivers. If you don't have the right mindset or if you're constantly anxious, over busy, no time for you, then this is a constant stress on your body, (your gut lining will breakdown every time you feel upset and your adrenals will scream under the pressure).
🍭 Poor diet and nutrient deficiencies, (even if you’re eating a good diet you will still have some deficiencies).
👎 Poor gut health, (even without symptoms - see my pervious posts for how heal your gut)
🆘 Environmental toxins, (check your personal care products & home cleaning. I personally like to use organic products).
🏃♀️ Excess exercise ( this is stop periods, reduce your ability to lose weight and lots more).
☀️ Circadian rhythm disruption, without adequate sleep we really struggle to balance hormones. Aim to get 8 hours of solid sleep per night (morning walks & blue blockers are night are a must!).
You see, health is multi-factorial. There's never "one thing" that will solve your health symptoms. You have to look at it all. And this is what I do in my clinic and online. Iridology is how I do this, please see more info on my website. www.thehealthandnutritioncoach.com Do you have a question? Please comment below.
