The HSE are currently liaising with pharmacies to provide Nasal Flu Vaccines to children in school this Autumn.

A school-based model is preferred for flu vaccination programme delivery for children, as there is national and international evidence that delivery of vaccines in school-based settings increases vaccine uptake.

Last year, 57% of primary schools nationally facilitated the provision of the Nasal Flu Vaccine HSE schools program.

If you would like the Cleary’s Pharmacy vaccination team to provide this service in your Primary school, Secondary school or crèche, in conjunction with the HSE, or require further information, contact Sarah on 091-562967 or [email protected].
