Are you breathing "too much" without even realizing it?

🌬️ Unhealthy breathing patterns affect a huge portion of the population and are often driven by three core pillars:

🧪 Biochemical Triggers: Many people confuse a "deep" breath with a "big" breath. Taking large, loud gasps through the mouth actually sets off a biochemical imbalance by washing out too much carbon dioxide. Additionally, our modern sedentary lifestyles and even excessive talking contribute to over-breathing by reducing CO2 production and increasing breathing volume.

🦴 Biomechanical Triggers: Posture and breathing are inextricably linked. Slouching compresses the diaphragm, making it impossible to breathe effectively and forcing the body to rely on shallow upper chest breathing. Over time, this leads to a rigid, immobile ribcage.

🧠 Psychological Triggers: Chronic stress keeps the "fight or flight" response permanently activated, preparing the body for physical activity that never comes. This creates a vicious cycle where poor breathing triggers the stress response, which in turn increases breathing volume further.
