This couple was experiencing secondary infertility, they didn’t need IVF they just needed someone to listen and support both partners to reach a place that they could conceive naturally again. They were never given a reason as to why the IVF had not worked and the clinic had just recommended a 3rd round of IVF but she got pregnant naturally 🙌✨️

Sometimes fertility journeys are not about trying to get pregnant ➡️ they are about understanding why the body is struggling to maintain a pregnancy. 💗

This lovely patient came to us after experiencing heartbreaking miscarriages alongside a history of endometriosis. While she was able to get pregnant naturally, her body needed deeper support around inflammation, hormones and overall reproductive health.

Niamh worked closely with her to address an underlying microbiome imbalance, while Dr. Codruta supported the hormonal and medical side of her journey. As part of her inflammation support plan, she also incorporated GigaLaser sessions alongside Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN).

Today, she is not only mum to a beautiful 14-month-old, but just had her early scan and everything looks good. ✨

Can't believe it's been 2 weeks already and what an amazing weekend 🙌
One thing that really stood out was people were not well informed. They'd been told unexplained infertility and had no idea why they couldn't get pregnant naturally or why IVF cycles were failing. 😥

I Just wanted to let you know I’ve had a positive test this week. I can’t thank you enough for putting me on the right path with my Microbiome - it’s my first positive test in 4 attempts so that along with the immune support seems to have done the trick.”

➡️ Just want to share this feedback and highlight that are many issues this client faced that would have never been picked up on the free HSE IVF round. Most couples go into that round blind, just been told unexplained infertility and the problem is that:
✨️Unexplained simply means unexplored✨️

➡️ Often an issue that is impacting natural pregnancy can stop IVF from working. It’s really important to advocate for yourself and if you are falling under the category “unexplained infertility” do some investigations while you wait to be called for your round.

Even the most advanced fertility clinics are limited in what they can offer clients when they supporting couples through an IVF round.

➡️ I recently had another client go into one the larger, well known IVF clinic with all her testing done in advance of her free HSE round and the doctor was really pleased – He told her that he was so glad that she covered so many bases because they are really restricted by what they can offer with the HSE round. He told her to keep doing what she is doing! We uncovered both microbiome and immune issues as well as endometriosis! She now has a very strategy in place to give her a much better chance of success. 🙌

A Nutritional Therapist specialising in fertility and microbiome health. Niamh works with couples to optimise their health before pregnancy using advanced testing, nutrition support and targeted protocols. Her work focuses on the crucial role the microbiome plays in both female and male fertility, helping couples prepare their bodies for both natural conception and IVF.
