*REMINDER* ; Focus on what you HAVE control over. ⬇️
When things don't go our way it's so easy to get engaged in negative thoughts...
We start ruminating on all things that aren't working in our favour, worrying about all the bad things that could happen next...
So what can we do to avoid such situation?
Practice *meditation*.
..Why?
Because meditation shows us that we can change our "autopilot mode" and CHOOSE to focus on what we can control, which is
- how we PERCEIVE a situation,
- how we REACT to it,
- and how we RESPOND.
Meditation helps us over time to accept what is, without judgement, and train us to stop and choose our reaction instead of automatically ruminating and complaining about it.
Meditation gives us the control back.
