Could the supplements you rely on become weaker - or disappear from Irish shelves?

You may have seen people talking about the Save our Supplements campaign and wondered what it’s all about.

The European Union is reviewing regulations that could affect both vitamin and mineral supplements and some herbal products.

For vitamins and minerals, the concern is that new Maximum Permitted Levels (MPLs) could reduce the strength of many supplements currently available in Ireland.

Separately, some herbal supplements- including ashwaganda, berberine, and other botanicals - are undergoing regulatory review, which campaigners fear could limit their future availability if new authorisation requirements are introduced.

As a BioKinesiologist, I see many people who need nutritional supplements to help support their health alongside a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. I believe people should continue to have access to safe, high quality supplements and the feeedom to make informed choices about what works best for them.

The Save Our Supplements campaign is calling on the Irish Government to ensure that any future regulations protect consumer safety without unnecessarily restricting access or choice.

After an incredible journey building my BioKinesiology practice in Greystones, I’m delighted to share that I will be relocating to Kilkenny full-time at the end of August.

I’m currently in the final stages of securing a beautiful new premises , and I can’t wait to crest a welcoming space where I can continue helping clients uncover the root causes of their health challenges and support them on their path to better wellbeing.

This is a very exciting new chapter, and there will be lots more details to share in the coming weeks.

For now, watch this space! 👀

It’s hard to believe I have just over two more weeks left of work here in Greystones. I call it work but it doesn’t feel like work. I’ve loved every minute with all my clients. We have had many laughs and tears and oh what I have learned from each and every one of you!

I’m looking forward to bringing my BioKinesiology and energy healing clinic to Kilkenny. I look forward to old and new clients and more connections with old friends and new too!

Myself and my family have decided to move from Greystones to Kilkenny this summer and my BioKinesiology practice will be coming too!
